Callie, let us know how you like the movie.

It was *way* better than I expected it to be.  I knew it was loosely based on Cage's take on the Disney short but I laughed til I cried  when the kid  did the "buckets and mops" scene -- it was truly hilarious  in the middle of a pretty serious movie.  I was a bit amazed Disney was so capable of laughing at itself.

I'm not an Imax fan (3D makes me violently headachey) so I tend to wait now and I darned near missed this one LOL.

Glenda -- I am SO sorry your son had such a bad wreck -- and I definitely will keep her in my thots and prayers -- one careless ride and it's probably changed her life forever.

Bevo -- you are SUCH a good boy!!  What patience!!

I need to get back to work, but haven't checked in for a while.

My neighbors rock, they helped me put the bulb in my car! Yay!

I am in the middle of doing a test, which is take home. This is totally brutal, and a demonstration of why I would rather have an in class test any day of the week. The guy didn't give us notes before hand, but sent the slides later. I couldn't really keep up with what he was saying, so I don't have much in notes. Some of the stuff on the slides, it just says the name of the topic in a list, like we obviously talked about it, but don't ask me what was said. Other stuff, it's in the text, but we weren't assigned that part, and never discussed it, or we barely discussed it.  Does this guy just want me to regurgitate the text book verbatim, because that's what I am doing now.
I think I need more snackage before I continue on this quest.

And I need to read what's been happening this weekend with everyone else.

Good luck with your test! I start classes again next weekend and I'm dreading it (who needs managerial economics, anyways?!).. :(.

So - I got to IGA market and they were cooking tri-tip and chicken halves outside and I snagged a  tri-tip.  I was so proud of myself for having dinner covered that early in the day that I went home and channeled my inner Martha Stewart - made an ice cream pie.  I'm sure Martha would have crushed her own 'nilla wafers for the crust and churned her own ice cream, but what the heck.  Then when I cut into the stupid tri-tip the dang thing was raw in the middle.  They must have just seared it on the outside and called it cooked.  I had to slice it and put it in the microwave.  Gag!  Do people really eat meat rare enough to bite them?

As long as it's warm all the way through, I'll eat it!

I like my meat just a bit before burned. Although, I can't say I have any idea what a tri-tip is, I googled it, and I am pretty sure I have never had that.

Also, interpretation of intent help needed here. I requested someone on Linkedin, she accepted my request or whatever you do on there, but this is what she wrote back to me.

There you go I am on your list now. Use it constructively or lose me.

Is she mad at me? I think no, because she wouldn't have accepted the request then probably. Is she just saying don't be annoying and crap like that? Why can't email come with a picture of someone's face, or it can be an email voicemail so that I can get some idea of the emotion that goes with it?

I think the answer to all of this is that I need to be off to sleep.
