[]   We have our home check tomorrow at 2 with a local person, and then I guess we'll be waiting to hear when the rescue can bring Bella home to us. The home visit was the least of my worries - it was the vet check that had me concerned.  The check was actually done by someone I know from another dog board, and she cleared us as having a suitable yard. • jensw Posted : 6/5/2006 8:25:45 PM It's actually happening pretty crazy fast, Lani. []  It all started May 12 when DH was surfing Craigstlist and found a "free to a good home" coonhound pup. We agreed that we had to at least try to get him, if only to make sure no one sleazy took him.  We never did hear back from his owner.  Anyway --long story, short - DH went out and bought a truck and then justified it with the words, "But you're getting a puppy."  And so the search was on. []    Found Bella on petfinder on 5/19 (after checking out 3 other dogs), corresponded a couple times via e-mail with the rescue, went to visit her May 29 and were given first refusal to her, confirmed we wanted her May 30, got the rescue group in touch with someone local who could do a home check on May 31 (to get the ball rolling faster), had the check today.  I'm REALLY hoping Bella comes home soon.[sm=joker.gif] 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
