AMY!!!!  Way to be subtle about it!  Congrats to you!!!! OOOoooh, it's baby time on dog.com!!

A little OT, but Jan, my girls were off season babies too. As a result Kelci has not been able to wear many of Kali's hand me downs. Its annoying. What size will Sonja be come winter? Maybe I can send some clothes?! Hehe.

Thanks Emily.  Things are going okay; would be so much better if this darn morning sickness would take a hike.  Can't seem to eat enough to keep the nausea at bay.  Gina's peppermint trick isn't working either.  But if the end of this trimester really does mean the end of the sickness, I should good to go in a couple of weeks.  A mom can hope anyway.  And honestly, if that's the most of my concern, I'm doing really good Big Smile

I'm happy for all of you, but please keep those baby germs away from me.  LOL

My son was born 2 weeks early and weight 8lbs 6oz.  Had he gone to term, he'd have been 10lbs easily.  And now at 21 y.o., he's still carrying his baby fat.

Aw, that sucks Amy. Peppermint altoids helped me a lot. I know some women get help from sucking on ginger candies. Also try supplementing with some vitamin b-6 too. And sometimes its the prenatal vitamins that cause the nausea. You could try regular vitamins and take folic acid separately to see if it helps. Or even just take a day or two off and see if that might be contributing to it. Every person is different. And every pregnancy is different. One of my friends is 22 weeks pregnant and still waking up queasy in the morning. And another of my friend pukes her entire pregnancy(god bless her)! Hope the sickness eases off!

Will you be finding out what you're having?

Jez, Sonja is just getting into 9 month clothing. At this rate she'll be in 2T by winter. Stick out tongue Ok, maybe not! Probably 12-18 mo.

Amy, my anti-morning sickness strategy was to eat everything in sight. Actually that was my strategy throughout the entire pregnancy.

That's a great ultrasound pic!  Our 20 week one is on the 3rd, so hopefully it is more clear than previous ones. Although the last time (12 weeks) I could at least make out something that looked like a little body, vs just a blob.

I think I've had the most boring incubation (as I call it) ever, no morning sickness, no weight gain yet (not that I'm not chubby enough anyway, so not complaining)..it's nice to have ultrasounds to be reminded that, yep, there's really a wee one in there.

I really think Jano's take is what's working the best for me - eat everything in sight.  But carefully so.  I mixed peanut butter and crackers with a heavenly little grape tomato from my neighbor's plant, plus a banana yesterday evening and about an hour later projectile vomited it all up.  Plus some of lunch.  I really need to learn that what sounds good isn't necessarily going to set well.

Dude, Grab!  It really is baby time here on idog!  And let me just say that you should count your lucky stars that your incubation has been boring.  As you can see, not everyone is so fortunate.  Are you wearing maternity clothes yet?  I wouldn't think so if you haven't gained any weight.  I myself haven't gained any either (have lost some actually) but my pot belly combined with horrible bloat is pushing me further and further to them.  My best friend (who is due 8/30) sent me some of her preggo clothes and whoa boy, those pants are awesome!

And P.S. YES we definitely want to know what we're having.  I want to know now!

Am I getting this right?  There are 3 of you!   Oh no sounds like you are all going to pop around the same time!!! How will all us surrogate Grannies and Aunties stand it?  Congrats to all 3!

No maternity clothes yet. :)  I did lose some weight, so am about the same size as I normally am :)

Congrats Grab!!!! Halfway there! I didn't really have too many sickies in the first trimester. Mainly just feeling nauseous occasionally. With this being the 5th pregnancy(second kiddo) I started wearing maternity clothes at like 9 weeks! lol. My uterus was well trained to know what to do. Plus in the first pregnancy your stomach muscles are much stronger and they keep the uterus in check :) Though you will start to pop out soon I'd imagine. And I bet you it will happen overnight!

And yes Amy, maternity pants ROCK! I was sad I had to put them away after Meri's birth. WAY better than regular pants!
