So there have been 2 murders in the town I live in in the past week. One guy got out of jail and a week later killed his sister (that was last Saturday). Two nights ago, guy goes into a local bar and shoots a guy dead, then drove off, crashed his car, and then shot himself dead. The guy he shot in the bar was a case of mistaken identity (it was someone else allegedly dating his estranged wife). Oy.

Does anyone else think that Mel Gibson needs to go away?

Yeah, Mel Gibson really needs to go away. I think his brain is too pickled from drinking so much for so long. I bet his ex-wife is glad he's gone.

Today was such a good day in so many ways. Here's hoping we get good thing #5 today in the form of the phone call and offer!

It was so hot and humid last night that I couldn't bear the thought of turning my oven on. So, I was out grilling my pork chops in the pouring rain yesterday. It was ok though, because I was wearing a couple of leis and drinking a refreshing Vodka drink in a pink tiki-bar cup. !!!

I'm working from home today...now maybe I can keep up with you ladies. It just irks me when work gets in my way of forum life.

It is SO frappin hot here in SE Texas. We had to go exercise right at daybreak...its only 76 degrees right now, but it feels like 176. Indifferent

Time to feed the dogs and get them inside. Those purple boots I got for Buddy are the best inexpensive remedy. They really help get him traction so he can get up and down on the tile in the house.

I'll have to update you all on the "Mom" situation in a little while. My sisters suck and not in a good way like Mr. Dyson.

Tina, crime has been up all over the state. Its crazy. Car and motorcycle fatalities are up too. Especially motorcycle. Every week I get a notice of someone new who died riding their motorcycle. Its sad.

I'm slowly making a dent in the endless pile of laundry that is in the basement. *pats self on the back*

welcome to North Carolina LOL - it was on TV last night that 2007 was the year that we broke the record for days over 90*, as of yesterday we are 12 days OVER that pace this year already. And the bad news is that most of those days were from Aug-Oct so no hope of a break. AND like that year we just aren't having any rain. Goodbye lawn, shrubs, flowers, etc.

NC heat is killing me.... Kya really likes it though, weirdo.

I'm thinking of going with honest kitchen instead of more raw this time. I've tried samples before, and the dogs loved it.

Jennie_cd needs to share pictures of her potential pups parents.

I spoke with an animal communicator last night, and it was really, really interesting. I was skeptical, but she came out with some things that were SO my dogs. LOL

I am having pringles for breakfast. I love pringles.

My inlaws are great. We are having so much fun with them.

I have a meeting this afternoon in Galveston, so we are going to spend the day sightseeing over there. I can skip out to go to my meeting & then meet back up with them later.

Yep, it was all over the phone. I gave her my dog's name, breed, age, and location and we went from there.

Sad - DH's motorcycle should be ready in a couple weeks. I hope he rides it when I'm at work and I don't know.

It's supposed to be 101 today but since I saw the news on areas like Vegas and Arizona, or even So. Cal., I'll try not to complain too much. It's going be scorching on the west coast for the next few days.

I'm off tomorrow and so looking forward to a 3 day break.

Guess I should get off my butt and take Maze for a walk.. Sandy has agility today so Maze is staying home.. I've got a raging headache thou.. Maybe I'll just throw a ball in the park for her. *crawls back in to bed* Ugh....
