Oh, crap.  Please take care of yourself.  Call the Domestic Abuse hotline and get some leads to help you.  I know you don't want to leave Cadey, but you're not good to anybody if he stabs you. Stay strong and know I'm thinking of you.

My back is aching.  One would think I'd been bent over for 10 hours picking cotton, but no.  I'm really not supposed to be wearing heels, and even though the ones I wore last week were less than 2", I think that has combined to give me my troubles again.  *ugh* I really hope I can get a job where I don't have to wear heels...

There are far too many incidents where the jerk hurts the animals, to show control over you and force you to stay. 

In some states, this is now a felony.  

I don't know you and don't know a lot about your situation.  What I do know about abusive relationships comes from employing people who wound up being abused by their SO, and referring them to a local agency that helped abused women.

-It doesn't end by its self.  Third party intervention is required.

-It doesn't get better.  But abusers are superb manipulators. (see what you made me do to you)

-Help is available.  There are individuals, govt agencies, and non-profits available, eager to help.

-The time to get help is before the injuries are life threatening. Also, plan your exit strategy so you have resources available and   someplace   to go.

-A deal with an abuser is meaningless.  Personal safety for you and yours means more than his convenience.

Melinda - I don't have anything useful to add to what the others have said but just wanted you to know that you've got a ton of support here and we're all wishing for the best outcome for you. Please stay safe.

Melinda, I didn't believe that my ex would REALLY kill me if I got pregnant again.  After all, the chances of that happening with my tubes tied were pretty slim and I wasn't having sex.  Until he raped me.  I avoided him for almost 5 months.  When he saw me, he beat me so badly that my baby girl died and I almost did as well.

Do not wait.  Get out now.  Take advantage of the resources available and get you butt out of there.

The interview went VERY well, and DH will be talking to one of the owners later in the week.

I officially have 'vampire' white skin.  I went out on a friend's boat this weekend for 3 hrs.  I wore spf 60 sunblock.  My skin still is practically incinerated.  Ugh.  Was is the olive oil skin cream by Palmer's that helps?

I was crazy busy all weekend, so I'm taking tomorrow off to catch up on stuff.  There is also a pet boutique that is closing, and River may be comin with me to get some sun-blocking tanks.  Chloe might get some, too, but she's the same size as River, so one model will do.  lol

I got a mosaic mirror off an etsy store this weekend for the living room.  I found out she was close in NC, so I met her to pick it up.  I so happy with it!  It looks great.  Art and mirror in one.  Now I'm reallllllyyy jonsing to learn how to mosaic.  I was sketching patterns between calls today at work.

 Amber.... vinegar works great, as does ocean potion lotion, and palmers coca butter (I couldn't find the olive oil one, but Paige said it's fabulous). Do not take cold showers, but cool.... lotion, lotion, lotion..... lol

 Congrats Cher! You're a woman dog now. But you know that means you can't act like a puppy anymore.

BF over heard me talking to my friend on the phone and waited till I got off to confront me about me moving out. He didn't know I was moving out and tried to tell me he doesn't treat me like cr@p, but since nothing he says will change my mind he will be out of here come the end of the week. Yeah right I'm still going to keep going with my plans of moving out unless he does. I hope.

I talked to my mom and she is going to clean up my old room if I do come back home this was the first time I've ever told my mom how things where going. She was shocked to hear he has been threatening me and I've been warned to keep her in the loop from now on. She wants me to let him keep Cadey she knows the troubles I have with her and Blue plus knows how bad Cadey hates cats. I just can't I'm afraid as you guys said what he will do with her if he will give her away to friends. His buddies aren't that great with dogs and her not being spayed they will most likely bred her.

No I'm not listening to a thing he says there is no sweet talk that is going to change my mind I'm done with him I deserve better. 

Fingers crossed he moves out this week and lets me have Cadey.
