    Whatcha all drinking (non-alcoholic)

Summer is here and in this climate hydration is essential.  Thing is I get bored of water and don't know what else to have.

I drink water, seltzer, black coffee (am only), unsweetened iced tea (occasionally), low sodium V8, gatorade (occasionally)

You may have guessed I don't like sweet drinks and really don't like sodas of any sort

So give me some ideas please I'm thirsty and this glass of water isn't doing it for me!!

I think you pretty much named all the NA drinks! LOL I usually grab iced tea.  I do drink the low cal gatorade when it's hot and I'm in the sun.

Maybe add some lemon or cucumber to your water??

I do like drinking juice, but I keep it to a minimum due to calories content :)

I haven't had a soda in like 6 mos...don't miss it. I am in the South so sweet tea is THE summer beverage. I make sun tea (decaff) in a jar and go thru many pitchers in a week LOL! Aside from that? Lemonade, Arnold Palmers, & Kool aid...and that's about it! I CANNOT stand anything with artificial sweetner so that Crystal Light and similar ca ca just ain't on my radar.

Well there goes my suggestion of Crystal Light Raspberry Ice and Iced tea (w/mint leaves)... I think those are YUM!

    And iced chai.

I don't like anything that isn't a little sweet and will probably die of cancer related to sugar substitutes. I drink Propel when I work out but dilute it be 1/2. At home, I like Crystal Light pink lemonade. I like iced tea but have to use about a 1/2 packet of splenda in it. Other than that, it's white wine in the PM and coffee in the AM.

If you want a drink that isn't sweet and is good for you buy some flavored green/white tea and brew up a few bags then let it chill in the fridge!  There's all kinds of different flavs to choose from!  That's been my new craze lately!  Once in awhile I'll throw some in a blender with ice and a banana/orange/strawberries or whatever you like and blend a smoothie.  Real GOOD!  I make iced coffee (decaf) quite often also.  I usually use honey as a sugar sub.  Not near as sweet but just enough to add kick!

I like to add unsweetened cranberry juice to ice tea.  When I had the UTI and was drinking tons of water and trying to drink cranberry juice straight (ugh) I remembered all the flavored teas in restaraunts and tried it.  I'm now addicted to the mix and don't drink iced tea any other way.

I have a *cough* slight diet Pepsi addiction. I hate water. It's boring and it really isn't unusual for me to go days without drinking a single glass (I try NOT to do that though). I don't like crystal light, flavored waters (like propel etc) or pre-made iced teas. I do like fresh brewed iced tea with either fresh mint or lemon in it. I love seltzer water with fresh lemon or lime in it. I can't stand Gatorade, but I have been known to chug some down if on a hike (I sweat worse than any guy I've met!).

I'm not a soda drinker at all...so its water, water, water for me.  Cut up a lemon and squeeze a quarter of it in there; or you can buy the lemon juice in a bottle a the grocery store..   I'm big into green tea right now and can drink that hot or cold.  No sweeteners...just straight up.  My favorite green teas have pomegranite (sp?) or spearmint and lemongrass added.

    Love Johnny's ideas....you go!

I'm not much help.  I drink water.  Nothing quenches thirst like a tall cold glass, no flavors, no bubbles, just plain old water.  I don't like soda.

I do have orange juice before my morning espresso, though.

Besides the tea I drink, I suddenly got addicted to drinking Fuze (http://www.drinkfuze.com/).  It taste sort of like SoBe but only has 20 calories per bottle and all the good stuff in it without being overly sweat.  I bought a case at Sam's Club last Friday and already need to go back for more.

I can't stand any bubbly drinks, never could.  I don't like soda so can't really say anything about those type of drinks.

(Haha I could almost be a sale rep by how excited I sound about this)

I also like Fuze. I've bought it at Big Lots but not sure how the price compares. If money were no object, I'd drink Honest Tea all the time but it's too pricey. The black tea with just a hint of sweetness, is really good. I also like the Gold Coast tea in the bottle. Yummy but also pricey.

You and me both! Big Smile I keep bottles of water in the fridge and I use those Crystal Light *on the go* things a lot.  Just pop one in and shake it up. I also like diet soda of the non-cola variety ... 7-up, Squirt, anything with a lemon/lime flavor.

     thanks for all the ideas!

Love the iced green tea idea - slaps forehead - not sure why I didn't think of that.  I have tons of green, white and fruit teas in at all times

Tina I am pretty much just a water drinker - but in normal weather I drink more than most people - but in this high heat high humidity I have to drink sooooooooooo much to stay hydrated I just get a bit bored with it.

Gina as a resident of NC i have to work real hard to successfully avoid sweet tea as it is all there is usually.  You can have it all - Ick!

I drink cranberry juice (1/3) and seltzer (2/3) w/ a lime slice in the summer and lots of ice.
