Mindless day before TGIF

Thanks Jackie.  He's safe, but not terribly sound.  However, I went back to check on him a few minutes ago and he is decidedly less green.

Had homemade chicken noodle soup in the slow cooker for him and it smelled really good so I made the mistake of eating some.  92 degrees and I'm eating hot soup???  Not such a great idea.  Sigh.

 don't have time to catch up yet butt... I was reaching down to grab something, and went eyeball first into something. Not sure what exactly it is, but the larger piece it is on is an old sewing machine. I have to go to work now. My eye hurts, and my brain hurts now.

I got my braces on today.  When I got home, I told the dogs that I'm the new bionic woman.  They were less than impressed.

LOL - this whole thread has given me some chuckles today.

My boss was supposed to catch a 5:30 flight, so I was counting on getting out of here early. He just called and changed it to a 7:20 flight :(

I am looking forward to an evening alone with the dogs and the remote. Wonder what I should have for dinner, besides wine. Hmmm...nachos? Maybe.

 It's my week of half days at work (I worked the weekend) and my brain has checked out of the workweek, I think. It does not help that it has been painfully slow, so each hour ticks by ridiculously slow. One more day...

 Does it make me a dork that I specifically sought out, ordered, and am happily reading a book on grammar?

It's not my cup of tea, but I'm not sure that it makes you a dork.

I love my DH, but today he's testing my patience.  I'm assuming that he was bored today because he texted me 78 times.  While I was at work.   At first, he was texting me for legitimate reasons, but as the day progressed, it got ridiculous, & annoying.  I ended up telling him that if the house wasn't on fire, & nobody was bleeding pforusely from the head/neck region, not to call or text me again.  This, of course, hurt his feelings, & put him in a pissy mood.  Currently, he is pouting in the den.  I'm seriously considering taking the dogs & going to bed without him.

My sister just called to say she has dinner plans, so I can watch the Celtics play LA - she hates basketball.  Celtics MUST WIN!!  I kinda wish all the games were played with this much energy.  Hmm, I almost forgot that Mr. Khloe Kardashian was playing.

I have that interview tomorrow and need to also take a test.  Good thing I didn't schedule the test for today - I was toast.

I took a couple of pics of Gracie - but a storm was coming in and the lighting is mediocre.  I really need to learn how to use my camera better...

I don't know HOW you breeders do it. I still have 2 more weeks with them, and I'm ready to leave them at home, and go sleep in the backyard myself!

I'm currently racking ebay for a new phone... I hate ebay, if I've never mentioned that before. Outbidding, competing for STUFF... not my thing. Bleh.

 My eye still hurts a bit. Well, I think more so feels weird. I don't know exactly what it is.

So, for the past month, I was graphing my exercise, but I started low with 15 minutes 5 days a week. I decided now to increase to 30. I also have a friend hassling me about it, but he didn't call me today. I totally struggled my way through it  today. I've been ok the other days, but today, I really didn't want to be there.

Luke is away at my friend's for tonight and tomorrow. I hate not sleeping with my puppy baby.
