Amanda, as per norm, had to rip somebody a new one and drank chocolate beer.

Tina - Haircuts are always nice for a change. Having said that, I am still adjusting to mine and I'm thinking I won't get it cut this short again haha.

 Glad to hear Charles is back home!

 Jen- (from MC thread who knows how many days ago) - do you know Terri?? She is a v. good friend of mine that I met at ABA a few yrs back. She;s doing applied animal behaviour research.

 I am finally back in Wellington. Trip was great but not long enough! I'm in NZ for a few more weeks before I leave for good for Portland.

Things are going to get very hectic- I finish work last day of June and am meant to start beginning of July in my new job and somehow in between I have to: get my visa (including flying up to Auckland for interview), pack up all my stuff (again) and organising shipping to the US, sell my car and my bed, find somewhere to live in Portland, finish all the current projects at my current job as well as go down to Christchurch to spend some time with my Mum/friends before I leave... I think I am going to have talk to my current boss to see if he might let me leave a few days early/my new boss to see if I can start a little later... eep!

Amanda: I want pink zebra stripped undies!!!

I got mine from an Old Navy clearance rack.  I am sooo not a pink girl, but I fell in love with them.  Today was the first & last time to wear them, as they were horribly uncomfortable. 

 I so hate living here. No Old Navy within miles of me. *sigh* Lol. I'll live I guess.

Oh goodie.  DH finally got around to calling.  Seems he's been sitting in a truck stop for the past couple hours somewhere in VA barfing.  I told him to find a cheap hotel and check in.  Noooo, hes just going to rest in the car until he feels better.  Oye.  Men.

Poor guy though.  It's not an easy one day trip to begin with, but add in being sick and it really sucks.

 why in the world can I not shake this exhausted feeling?  It almost feels like I'm taking benadryl and I'm not. Cathy I only take half at a time and only before bed.  I still wake the next morning in a complete fog. Unfortunately nothing else seems to do anything for my allergies

may be I need smelling salts? I have severl papers to write tonight and I can hardly keep my eyes open and stop yawning.  Something is definitely wrong

I think that we may float away.  I emptied the rain guage this morning as I was leaving to go hiking.  I just walked out on the patio, & can see that it is overflowing!  That means that we've gotten at least 6 inches of rain since noon.  If it keeps this up, I may not be able to make it in to work tomorrow.  I can hope anyway!

The kids left this afternoon to go on vacation with their grandmother, & uncle.  I'm not sure what we are going to do for the next ten days.  Even though I'm going to miss them, I hope that they have a good time.

Almost 12" of rain about an hour North of us.  Lots of flooded rivers and creeks.  We didn't get that much rain, thank goodness. 

Vinia, good luck with your move.  I'd definitely ask for extra time on both ends. :)   

I'm off to watch TV till it cools off enough to play with the dogs. 

It's cold and rainy here. All I want to do is curl up w/ a coffee and some cookies- yumm! I think I'm going to make a trip to Dunkins now....

I think I need a swat w/ the 2x4 for losing the USB cord! Where could a USB go?? I mean seriously, I have 1 computer....I don't travel w/ the USB cord.....so what, did trolls come in my house in the middle of the night and steal it? I looked everywhere; in my desk, behind the desk, under the desk, all around the living room, in the end table drawers (I def need to clean those out, btw). It's gone!

I have a buttload of USB cords at my office.  I know with cameras each one has a different size connecting end, but if you want to PM me with your camera model, maybe we can find out the right size and if I have one I can send it to you.  Seriously...a whole bunch of them sitting in a box not being used.

I never thought I'd wish Aunt Flo would hurry her bootie up, but today I'm feeling soooo bloated I wish she would just come on already.  In good news, my brand new size 6 capris I bought last month...I wore them yesterday and they were too loose!!!  WOOT!  Thank you Jillian Michaels for kicking my butt every day.  It's totally paying off.
