Does anyone here dress up their dog?

Does anyone here dress up their dog?  Whether it be clothes, fancy harnesses, bandanas, costumes, T shirts?

I do!! Blue has a banadanas for all most all the holidays, has a hoodie, and a winter jacket thingy. He doesn't mind any of it he especially loves his winter jacket so he can stay out longer in the winter to play in the snow. He also has devil horns for Halloween time and I would like to get him sunglasses soon.

Now I just have to get him a rain coat since he don't like the rain.

Sometimes the kids want to dress up Sara. So they put P.J's on ger or the dress up clothes

Nope. Although she'll wear a pair of sunglasses for about 15 seconds before whipping them off. She has a wide reindeer Christmas jingle bell collar she wears on the holidays, and when I'm working with her outside, so if she gets away no one will shoot her for a coyote.

Wild Things don't wear clothes. (We are still teaching Wild Thing to let us trim her toenails, much less put silly things on her.) [:D]

Molly is a dog....she would never forgive me if I made her dress up.
She does, however, have a bright pink harness for her walks off the trail. She hates it.
I'm not even sure she would let me put a bandanna on her

Rory mainly uses accesories like bandanna's, cutesy collars, and reindeer antlers for xmas. I do put her in a sweater in the winter cayse she dosnt have much hair on her undercarriage but then I get those looks like " is that a pit bull.......in a sweater........with SNOWFLAKES? Ha, I love it! Some people think its cheesy but its your dog. Obviously if it bothers the dog then its kinda cruel but for the most part my girl dosnt mind!

Max doesn't wear clothes but he has quite the collection of bandannas - some he inherited from our previous dog and some I bought him new.  Can't seem to get out of Wal-Mart without buying at least one new bandanna since they're only $1.  He also has holiday bandannas and for Halloween he wore a purple witch hat with orange hair. [:D] That didn't last very long. This week-end I'll dig out the *stars & stripes* for Memorial Day and again for the 4th. of July.

The only reason I would ever do it, is if they were suffering from being cold. I live in Florida, so that is unlikely.

Altho, just once I put a t-shirt on my lab/pit mix. Just to see what would happen. She immediately started pulling on it, then the other 2 dogs came over & started pulling on it. Took awhile for me to get it off, because I was laughing so much. Good thing she's a tolerant doggy!

Haha, great question!~  I have purchased everythigng from doggles to booties for tobes (see siggy). And let me tell you, Toby doesn't mind it. Its not his favorite thing....(and I only put it on long enough for a picture), then it comes right off. Rain jackets....he loves those, since it means a walk is soon to follow.

Zoe has sweaters for the cold months because she starts shivering at about 65 degrees.  She has a pretty bare belly.  I also now have pretty harnesses.  She has one tshirt too. She also has a winter ski jacket. She doesn't mind wearing the clothes at all.  Oh, she has PJ's too but when she lays down sometimes her positioning makes them fall off.

LOL  You've got to be kidding!  Mick has a drawer full of bandanas.  I  don't really consider that dressing him up, tho.  As for really dressing him up, check out these pics.  They are just one of the many Halloween costumes Mick's worn

Yes, I'm guilty. But I usually don't make him wear stuff for longer than necessary (and he gets lots of treats for putting up with his goofy mommy!) :)

I have a couple of doggie blankets (look like horse blankets) that Dasher wears in the winter when we go out.  He doesn't love them but he does ok.  If he doesn't have them on and its really cold he will shiver.  My dal, Reese had the same thing.  Our lab, Lille hates wearing anything....luckily she never gets cold so its a non-issue with her [:D]
