when I call them they are, admittedly, shopping, eating out, getting Starbucks, & in one case, 3 hours away from their computer that must have "miraculously" turned itself on & logged into the system.

wow, I want to "work from home". Did they really admit that to you? Why on earth did they even answer when you called? Some people don't think lol

Yeah, they admitted it.  Between me asking why they didn't respond to my IM's & emails, & then asking them to get on the webcam for a staff meeting it wasn't like they had many options.

We will be "Dikes on Trikes" as she puts it.

Just so ya know........It's spelled with a 'y" not an "i" ! Stick out tongue

It's an actual group.  Here, it's traditional for the D.O.B. to head up the annual Pride Parade.  My partnere and I did it a couple years.  Not much fun because the police forced us to ride only in a straight line across...staight ahead...and stop at every intersection !  We went to the parade in Seattle once and the group was riding in a big lazy oval round and round slowly advancing along the route.

Well, that proves my point...I wouldn't know any better.  But, I do believe she would although we've never had the specific conversation.  Had my DD actually been contributing to this forum...she would have quickly corrected me.  Big Smile  She is very active in the local Pride Parades and has made some very cool costumes for her and her partner.  I should post a picture of two of her original costume designs.  I'm very proud of her.. She is also very active in TransGender advocacy.  On her FB page...she indicates her Gender Identity as "Fluid."  LOL  She is a trip, a brilliant trip.

BTW...how dare the police force the Gay Parade participants to ride only in a straight line.  I'd a been rebellious and ride zig zag.  LOL

My best friend has super soakers on her wedding registry, and I see nobody has purchased those yet. I should definitely encourage members of my family to purchase those for them, right?

I think my sister is going to get them. I think I need to change my pants, put my other shirt back on, and get myself to work. I am so not excited about going there.

am dragging FH around on Sunday to do wedding stuff. He actually agreed to come pretty willingly. I was surprised. I think he knows that should he refuse to help, I will refuse to have a wedding. LOL.

Hey, I think some guys like the party aspect of their own wedding, too, and should be participating in the planning as much as they want!  I kinda wonder what a wedding registry would look like if the guy did it all on his own... ;)

I picked up my new glasses today! I really like them. But I think my last ones must have had an anti-reflective coating on them, because these really seem to have a lot of glaring. Sad Anyone know if I can have that done after they've already been fit into the frames?

wait, wait, wait...the police forced ya to go STRAIGHT?? lmbo...I joke, I kid, I mean no harm LOL...

I hadn't seen this -- and I just emailed her to laugh about the very same thing.  Dang it -- forcing them to go straight?  Dang .. talk about political clout.  Sheesh.  They fancied themselves all powerful I guess?

Super soakers sound awesome, Derek and I were looking at them in Zellers the other night ago.

We are big kids, we have nerf guns, and run around the house shooting at eachother with them.  We even have safety glasses he got us from work, that has two little lights on either side lol.

I use WalMart's generic for Prilosec, I've had it for many years. Works great and much cheaper than Prilosec, one tablet lasts all day.

of course!  I should add billard table, slot machine, pinball machine, popcorn maker (like at the theatre).  Ooh...that takes me to media room equipment.  Is this list getting too expensive for a wedding registry.  Maybe.  LOL
