    Lead breaking the pups...

Well it was comedy central outside my house today. LOL...lead breaking 101. Puppy's can act like you are murdering them when you put that lead on and they feel tension the first time heh.

Lily did great once I got them going....taking them back and forth so I could shoot video to critique their movement.

Bracket put up a big fuss verbally but I'd have to say Ellie was the most annoying...planting all four and refusing to move while wailing pitifully. I am sure the AC will pull up ANY minute hah! She "got it" tho pretty quick...forward is good...sitting in one spot is bad...follow follow follow and you don't hardly feel anything on your neck! Sandy of course has it all in paw...she's been taking tools around the neighborhood for about a week now. Of course the 'in a straight line and don't pull' part is for another day week or possibly MONTH!

Next step is coupling one with Nonnie while we go for a walk so they can see it's not scary, and they had better keep moving, lol.

I put a video or two of them walking on lead at my youtube.com site...but I doubt they've loaded up yet!

Sandy is such a natural at everything she does isn't she!?!?!

I started couping Harley and Izzy about a month ago and it makes life so much easier when I take them both somewhere with me, but I have also noticed a difference in Izzy's confidence level when in public places.  It could just be her maturing and being socialized more, but Harley has always been one to run right up to say hello to people.  When they are on the coupler, Izzy just follows his lead and runs right up to strangers and lets them pet her.  It is the craziest thing.

They are a lot of fun to watch to see who will pull who where and even more fun when everyone is going the same direction!
