Mid-Week Chatter

Thanks Joyce & Cathy.  In the grand scheme, I have nothing to complain about, but dang it makes me pissed at myself (and, shoot, at my ex a little bit, I'll admit it.)  He just never understood/appreciated how much I gave up to move to AZ.  Good job w/a fantastic company, all my friends, all my family, all my hobbies, everything familiar, etc, etc.  I've moved so much in my life that I knew I'd make friends, etc, but, geez, making money is a lot harder for me.

Aaaaaanyway... "Keep moving forward".

Some drunk driver ran into a parked cop car, kept going down the street and smashed into three more cars, ending up with his giant SUV on top of a sedan at an intersection near my house.  Yikes!  Six people injured including himself, but none seriously - guess that's the best outcome, and that he's caught and back in jail.  Long criminal history.  Hooray!

Well, I gave it all back to him. Every picture and card I could find - the keys to his car, and old apartment, and the shirts he had left here. I want none of it. I did write him a short note - it was a nice note, but nothing sappy. Now hopefully he'll give me back my insurance card... I do NEED that....(he had it while we were in NY, just in case).

I've got lots of thinking to do, career wise. That should take up most of my time. Job offers are coming left and right... makes me feel very guilty knowing there's people who would kill for a job - and here I am turning them away.... bleh.

The puppers are peeping. I'm hoping to have full eyeballs tomorrow! Exciting!

What goes around comes around.......the STBXDIL is in the hospital AGAIN.  She's been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.  Wah.  BUT, new bf is getting hit with the same stuff DS got hit with.....you CAN'T make me stay here, you can't control me, I don't HAVE to let them put a cathader in me to look at my kidneys and no one can MAKE me......

I did the same thing Paige and ex never seemed to appreciate it either. That ended up being okay in the end tho. I found a better job and a waaaayyy better man. That's what I want for you. :)

Well, no matter how dumpy I might feel, that silly Baskin Robbins "Ice Cream-N-Cake" song always makes me dance in my chair.  I have no control.  I must chair dance to that 25 second commercial.  "Ice cream-n-cake, do the ice cream-n-cake!... Ice cream-n-cake, do the ice cream-n-cake!"

We had a Cinco de Mayo party with the kids.  Now that they are in bed, the margaritas are no longer tequila free.  I haven't had liquor in around 3 months.  Tomorrow may hurt.  A LOT!
