Aww sorry Amanda about the WAE.  But glad he responded well to the acupuncture.  Anyone around there in your area who does pet massage?  I've found it works awesome -- particularly with neural stuff.

I found Jed at http://www.petmassage.com -- he took their course (he was already a human massage therapist) == if you just email them sometimes they'll try to hook you up with someone.  They also sell their course via CD if you're interested.  But boy -- Jed kept Foxy pain free for a LONG time.

Whats the Working Aptitude Evaluation for?

It is a test that determines if he has proper doberman temperament.

I must say that I don't know who has a direct line here, but someone really must have some serious contacts.  My boy is up, & I do mean up!  He's got all four on the floor, & he's on the move again, looking "normal" again!

This is from a "quiet potty break" this evening. 

It's a far cry from the stumbling dog that I carried down the stairs this morning.

Thanks again guys!  He's getting around very well this morning.  The holistic vet/acupuncturist was thrilled with his progress when he saw him this morning.  He gave the green light to take him through the WAE because he's doing so well.  I am going to wait & decide for sure tomorrow.  It is supposed to be raining, & I'm not sure that wet grass, & then the slick surface that he'll have to walk is a good call.  We'll see.

LMBO!  His water retrieving skills are unusual & not to Dobe-like!  I only know of two other dobes who willingly swim.  Cher sinks.  If Bevo is retrieving, then she doesn't get to go to the water without her life jacket.  I've had to pull her out, more than once.

I actually consider myself really lucky that Bev likes to swim.  Since the wobblers diagnosis, we don't play fetch anymore, & trust me, fetch was probably his favorite thing in the world.  Since he likes the water, & there is no diving for the toy, or pressure on his neck, he can still do what he loves to do.

Good to hear Bevo is responding and getting better.  He's sure lucky to have you there for him!  I'm not sure what the WAE test is but just wanted to send some good luck vibes his way if you do decide to go ahead with it.
