puppy scratching

I would definately take her to the vets an have them rule any medical issues out first. THEN it may go to the neck and feet but it is highly unusual for it to progress that far without you knowing about it before.  Demodex starts like a flakey patch but progresses to a wet, red oozy spot.    But Demodex isn't super itchy -- it DOES itch, depending on the dog.  But I would be astonished if these were the first two patches of demodex.   Is the itching all over or JUST in one spot?   Out door dog or inside?   Breed(s)?   How old?    Spayed/neutered yet?   All those questions can help determine what's going on.    One more question -- are YOU scratching/itching anywhere?  A small red, sore rash?
