It was 35 here this morning about 4 degrees warmer than they thought it would get, thank goodness.  I have everything in bloom right now and hated the thought of a heavy frost.   It is supposed to be 70 today and the same for the rest of the week.   Yea for sunshine...I have tons of yard work that needs to be done.   This front hasnt done my Fibro anygood but as soon as it starts warming up I will be able to kick into gear.  Not much can keep me from playing in the yard on a sunny spring weekend :)

Got lots to do today and wish I didnt have to be here right now.   Happy Friday to all!

Yay - I'm so glad it's Friday and it's gorgeous here. Unfortunately, it's supposed to get gloomy again in the next few days. I think I'm going to take Monday off. I need to use some vacation and DH is working, so it'll give me a day alone.

Julie - I hope you can get your hands on that 2x4 quickly. I had a similar day yesterday, so I feel for you.

Amanda, I hope you have a great weekend!  Clothes are overrated on weekend getaways, especially when they are anniversary celebrations. :)

Chilly here this morning but should warm up into another beautiful day.  Charles is starting to feel so good he's in danger of having to start doing some chores around the house.  Starting with the cat litter.

You guys ... dang, the only time I drink is when I hurt (and man, NOTHING like beer to relax arthritic joints -- it WORKS).  I really don't *like* the taste of beer and I have to have it icy cold and I have to chug it to get it gone LOL.  But dang -- then you have to spend the rest of the evening in the bathroom.  Sheesh.  I know .. I'm just not quite normal.

*happy dance* Tomorrow Meg is going with David and I to a production of Schoolhouse Rock.  THAT oughta be fun!!  whoo hoo!!  But David will likely spend half the time telling us to have some "decorum" (except he already knows that when you take your wife to a kid's production that she tends to be a wee bit rowdy but this time I'll have somebuddy to ENCOURAGE ME!!!! LOL).

Tomorrow early morning will be the pug's first time doing a **Saturday** at Give Kids the World.  Far "faster" - more kids, the come along more frequently ... generally just much busier. 

I think she's ready for it.  She's truly doing WELL in obedience (and having a handicapped client has been as much of a challenge for the trainer as the pug and bagle have been LOL).  But I'm pretty proud of her -- and Luna LOVES Saturdays -- the more pettings the better!!

One of my coworkers kids are here with her today, & I am fairly certain that they are the devil's spawn.  I am thisclose to walking into her office & recommending using a shock collar on the little monsters.  That is all.

Okay, now I need the 2x4 or something bigger, if we got it. I did our taxes last week using TurboTax. Well, the only way to print it out to look it over is to go ahead and pay for it. No big deal, but I did find an error. I went back in this morning to correct it and when I went to reprint it, it wanted me to pay again. I went thru all the online support Q&As and how's this for helpful? -

Q - Do I need to pay again to reprint my forms after I make a change?

A - No

How freaking helpful is that???

Anyway, I finally found a # to call and the woman said "you paid to print it once, so I think you have to pay again if you want to print it again"....OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I had to bite my tongue so hard I drew blood. I calmly explained that I knew that wasn't true and she spent 10-15 min's trying to find an answer for me. She was probably looking at the same online Q&A crap I'd already looked thru. Finally, she said she'd just refund my credit card and that way I wouldn't be charged twice. Ugh, I seriously need a drink

Ah, lovely.  Heathens in the work place.....how did we go from kids being expected to be seen and not heard to totally demanding center ring in the circus they create just by BEING someplace??  Not that I'm advocating going WAY back....that was certainly oppressive.....but geeze!  How about a happy middle ground?

Was downright nippy this morning here as well.  40's at night, upper 70's-80's during the day, so quite the change.  I'm feeling really badly for folks in the north who had 70's and 80's last week and are now dealing with freaking SNOW........

Have gotten some decent nibbles this week......keep the fingers crossed that one of them turns into an offer please.
