Just sent off the customer complaint to the car place.  The local idiot finally left a message on my home voice mail yesterday.  I will not be calling him back; let him deal with his corporate manager.  I love email - it's so much quicker to file these things.

Agnes is doing okay today.  A little stiff, likely due to the rain.

So FH's Dr.'s appointment went really well yesterday - except for the waiting room full of angry angry injured people. LOL. It seems no one else knew or had any sort of clue that his wait times were bad, like three hours behind. hehehe. We had been on the phone with reception all morning calling back and forth, they were letting us know how far behind he was, so we didn't show up until well after our scheduled appointment date, and we still had to wait for about two hours. Turns out it's just FH's MCL that is torn, and it's about an 80-90% tear which will be fine in about four more weeks with rest - and he has the ok to start biking again :D YAY! We were sooooo happy.

Lauren - Good luck with your bridesmaids. I agree with everyone else, just talk to her and see if she even still wants to be your maid of honor. I know that can be hard - I'm a very non confrontational person myself. It's just not worth stressing about on your wedding day though - so tell her to shape up or get out.

Cher is being a holy terror this morning.  So far, she swiped my cup of tea off of the kitchen table, destroyed Shooter's bed, & goosed the elevator attendant on the way up to my office.  It's going to be a good day!

Spent the morning looking for the brown pup that found me yesterday in the rain storm.  I am so worried about her.  I have treats and bought an extra leash that I will keep with me all the time now so next time I am prepared (see full story in General).

Should be a light day at work today we have a group lunch, then ice cream party and happy hour - head of our department is leaving.

Definitely looking forward to the weekend and opening day at Tiger Stadium tomorrow.

Glad Agnes had a better night.

It's a beautiful morning with very cool temps (upper 40s) but the sun is shining and the air is crisp and smells wonderful.  Belle got the zoomies this morning and when I called the dogs in from their potty break, she ran into the wall of the house because she couldn't make the turn at full speed.  She didn't seem to hurt herself.  She's one of those dogs that seems destined for an injury, at some point, due to her enthusiasm for life. lol

Lisa, I hope that dog has found it's way back where it lives. 

Dawn, I'm glad your stress test is over and hope it didn't stress you out too much.  The waiting for results is the real stress test.  Fingers crossed that all is well.

Hope all is well this gorgeous cool morning.  We got some rain last night and washed the pollen away...YAY!  I left my SUV out so it would get a bath.  Success.

I've ordered some Dublin collars this morning....so excited!  OK, I'm easily excited and easily amused.  I'm an easy keeper.  I'll post pictures of the new duds when they come in next week. 

Not sure if I mentioned this....but our gal who is basically our Project manager/Estimator gave her resignation recently.  We are bummed because she really takes care of most everything in the office (DH's office).  Strangely enough, we just recently hired another Estimator, so the timing is OK...which probably made her feel a bit better.  We knew that eventually she would be moving back northeast and felt lucky if we had her here for a year.  We almost made it, it would have been a year in June.  She misses her family and friends desperately...she is single and doesn't have a lot of friends here.

Anyway, I've put an ad in the paper for a Project/Office assistant; and WOW I've gotten about 35 resumes in just a couple of days.  It certainly is an employers market.  Out of the 35, 5 of those are very close to what we are looking for.  There is one gal who is the "star" candidate and I will be interviewing her very soon.   Her objective on her resume says:  "To excel in life and live it to the fullest of my ability while helping my family."  I love that!  Every objective I have EVER seen on a resume is always business related.  Quite refreshing; and it won me over.  Aside from the fact that she holds all of the qualifications we are looking for.   We would like to hire someone before our gal leaves so she can get some training in.  Wish us luck!

All the dogs went to the groomer yesterday....they feel GOOD!

The boys seem to be okay this morning after their dumpster diving antics yesterday.  BF is home with them, otherwise I would have brought them to work with me today so I can keep an eye on them.  I'm in full worry-wart mode.

Jackie....I think Charles and Ron are brothers, lol!!!  Ron will do that to me and say; "What: are you so upset about, I am fine"  Grrrrr.... that coming from Mr. Accident prone himself, duh!   Now if I dont call him, or answer my phone he is calling all over the country looking for me til he has worked himself into a frenzy....lol!  One time I ran into DG for a quick minute, forgot to take my phone, tried to return the call when I did get back in the car and he didnt answer....next thing I know he is in the truck looking for me cause the one person at work that was on the phone when I left didnt hear me say I was going to DG first....Boy did he get upset.   You and I both know we worry about our boys and they worry about us but they dont seem to think there is any reason for "Our" concern!!!

I am big on small informal wedding and elopements for all the reasons that were mentioned yesterday....I say spend your hard earned money on your honeymoon and your home and forget the "Drama" created by big weddings....that being said, I have been married 3 times, lol, so each time you appreciate the process of elopement and saving all that money!!!! 

 It's a little cool here this morning and supposed to have a frost tonight.   Just when all my dogwoods/redbuds/tulips and bleeding hearts are in full bloom....I know it's going to happen cause it does it every year but....I just dont like it.  Keeping fingers crossed that it wont be as bad as they think!

Ummm, Lisa??  That is NOT Tiger Stadium.  It's an ok ballpark, but it doesn't have one 10th the guts of the Tiger Stadium that met the wrecking ball.......I'm just saying......

It's overcast here and supposed to rain today.  I truly hope it does so it can wash some of this pine pollen away.  I'm thinking that's what's causing DH's rash.  He came back from ME all cleared up and within 48 hours, it was back. With a vengence.  It's on his arms, face and the back of his neck and it's miserably itchy.  I of course have the allergy eyes and the slight facial swelling, which is all sorts of fun.

I'm going to have to check out those dublin collars. Are those the ones your crew was modeling Jackie? Very nice and the company sounds great.

I am in a terrible funk today. If I still got PMS, I'd blame it on that but since I don't, I'll blame it on DH . JK - I really can't blame it on anything, so hopefully it goes away soon.
