Tuesday - Mindless

Nicole, I hope that you feel better very quickly!

Heather, I hear you about hating the IRS.  I mailed my check to them today.  Absolutely not impressed.  The only bright spot is that Texas doesn't have a state income tax.

It's been a busy day.  Work was crazy.  Home is crazy, & DH is still not feeling well.  I know that he must be feeling really badly because he actually cancelled his classes today.  He never cancels his classes.

I have a parent-teacher conference tomorrow.  One of DS#1's teachers called today & asked for a conference.  I was happy that it wasn't the principal calling, but I'm still a little worried about what the issue is.

Think positive Amanda! Maybe she wants to tell you how well DS#1 is doing. You'd said he had good grades, right?

FH, Little Bro, and I went to the local dive bar/restaurant to eat dinner and meet up with some of FH's friends. LB got *kicked out* because he isn't 21, and you have to be 21 after 9PM. Including if you just want to eat. My FH goes to this bar probably twice a week, knows all the bartenders by name, etc. and they still told LB he had to leave. We went to get Mexican food instead.

I got Pirate a new Cuz and am ready to gouge my eardrums out. Why do I do this to myself?!

I'm glad everyone likes my dress! Now I just have to decide on what color I want to torture my sister into wearing *cackles* I can order another sash so it coordinates with the bridesmaid dress and BF's tie, if we get it from Men's Wearhouse. I love coordination.

Jan, can you call in reinforcements and take a break from the kiddos for half a day?  You need a litlle teeny bit of time for yourself.  I'd come and babysit if you weren't so darn far away. :)

Unfortunately, the only "me" time I get is to go grocery shopping. And I always take Sonja with me just in case she gets hungry. The times I really need help are in the morning when I'm a complete zombie, and late evening when Sonja just does NOT want to go to sleep. Like now. Crying Both the kiddos are boogery right now. Willa has been waking up coughing a lot at night. Sonja just swallows a lot of mucus, then ends up throwing it up. Plus she's been really gassy lately so she's been crying more. I just bought some Hyland's colic tablets, so I'm really hoping they'll help.

But I might go out this weekend. A friend of ours is going to be playing music at another friend's birthday party, and DH and his buddies will play some music too.

Jan, I have a very good friend who has a colicky baby.  She swears by playing white noise to help calm him & help him fall asleep.  We have kept him so that she & her DH could go out to dinner a few times, & he will go from crying & cranky to relaxed & napping in no time when his white noise cd is playing.

Meg,  you buy Pi a new cuz because you love the little guy, & want him to be happy.  Even if it causes you to want to pull your hair out, or "gouge your eardrums out."

Griff, I really like all of your scheduling lately, LOL. Very productive!

I am mostly loving it too. I mean, at 9am, I was done my assignments for this weekend. I've got a little bit of reading to do tomorrow for class. Most of the reading on the schedule for tomorrow will be semi-leisure (field related, but I am not required to read it).  I don't typically do leisure reading, because I don't think to get off the computer, off the internet, and out of my state of laziness to do it. So yes, I have pick up a book on my schedule, but I also have things like watching Jerry Springer on there. Ok, not Jerry Springer tomorrow, because I am working all afternoon. Go to the dog park is on there for tomorrow for Luke. We couldn't go today because he had class, and it was vandalized, and had to be repaired today.

Speaking of Luke's class, it's frustrating. It's very boring, and my dog who typically would come racing back to me for a ball is eloping out of the weave poles, and I just realized that I said eloping there. Anyway, he is eloping from the weave poles. He didn't elope from the equipment in his previous class, and we were working off leash, and it only started when he started the poles in this class. Given that he is going towards the crates, I think it's too hard. Today, this guy tried to go from 6 poles last week to 12 tonight. Some of the dogs are repeating the class, Luke isn't. I wish I had the money to buy 2x2 weaves, so I could teach him myself. Anyone want to send me the money for that?

    It's broken now. Thank doG...

Now, for the question most frequently asked around our house when a new cuz is involved......."Did you break it, or did  break it?"

Jen, you can make weaves pretty inexpensively out of PVC pipe.  Make a Home Depot run!
