Stacey, our milk goes bad too.  I have started to spend more, but buy the cartons rather than the bags, because the same as you, it's only Derek and I, and we really only use the milk each morning for our teas.

    "Different" in my fridge:

    - assortment of cake icings, including a big tub lol

    - jar of kalmata olives, I can sit and eat the whole jar

    - assortment of stir fry sauces

    - left overs lol

    - red, yellow and orange peppers

    - cream cheese that never seems to get eaten

    - shredded cheese (LOVE making nachos)

    - hummus

In my cupboards, probably the two big staples are rice noodles and couscous.  and lol canned baked beans.  Weiners and beans and toast is a staple dinner at our house Big Smile

They are more refreshing that way

and storing them near the Baking Soda box helps combat that not so fresh feeling.

I forgot that we have butter, or rather, I can't believe it's not butter.

Chuck Norris, CAN believe it's not butter.

So can I. It tastes nothing like butter.

I wanna live at Emily's house!  (I can ignore the ketchup.)

The only constant in our fridge is diet soda and diet frozen dinners, plus Gracie's food toppers.  Milk, cheese, and the like (including condiments) are there, of course, but other than that, no constant foundation foods.  And no feminine products, either.
