Ok I have a q: how do you guys remember what you want to respond to in this thread? Maybe it is my adhd but I read one post and think I want to respond to that, then I totally forget what I was going to say by the time I read the next post! Is it just me? Lol

Nope, not just you. lol  I often have to go back and re read because I know I'm forgetting people.  Then I get ready to reply and have forgotten some again.  I feel lucky if I can make a half way coherent comment to the right person on some days. :)

 It is totally not you... and it's a pain when I want to quote more than one person.  I often edit and revise, edit and revise multiple times to catch the people I missed.  Yep, guilty.

I am now part owner of my sister's company.  One whole percent!  I'm rich!

Yeah, I totally just neglect to respond to people. I know it's terrible. I know I should address everyone. Maybe I should write down everyone who I should respond to.

Congratulations!  You're also now responsible for 1% of the taxes.  Celebrate, lol!

Sorry, I'm a bit angry over taxes right now since we have to pay the company taxes soon....painful, painful, painful checks to cut.

But, it is cool, so seriously, congrats!!

I was fired today. But I had a line on three different jobs before I got home. We'll see what pans out. It's a little better than last year. They already had my final check printed up. And, over the weekend, I got my income tax refund check. So, I can afford some bills and groceries for a little while.

Ron, that is such a bummer.  Hoping the job prospects pan out soon.   You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for speedy job finding.

I cannot catch a break. I got invited to go with my German professor to his awards ceremony in Columbia an hour and a half away, but I have a class when I'd need to be there. He said, "No problem, I'll email the professor." She won't let me go. I have a presentation due in her class. Okay, I know rules are rules, but I'm a senior, and his first declared minor, and I'm willing to do the presentation early. Can't she just... take pity on my and my already terrible year and just let me do it early and then go with him? I have to talk to her tomorrow...

Sorry to hear about all the hurt hounds.  I always see their threads and read the updates, I just don't always post. But I think about you!

In other news, I ordered my graduation stuff today, and made my hotel reservations yesterday for MN. Unfortunately, it's supposed to snow while I'm there.

Sorry about the job, Ron. And I'm trying to keep everyone who's dealing with hard times (harder than my own, by far) in my thoughts!

I'll try & do this one from memory.

Julie - You're doing the best you can for Sunny.  I had similar feelings when Snickers (a foster) moved on to another foster.  I felt that I had failed him because we had hit a wall when in reality I had taken him as fas as I could & it was up to R to take him to his full potential.  The good news is that he's got a great furver home & it took more than just me to help him on his way to a happy home.

Ron, I'm so sorry to hear about your job.  I hope that one of your 3 leads pans out.

Here's my tip for remembering who said what....I open 2 windows.  One is the window where I'm responding to the thread is & the other window I go through the thread & kind of check off things as I respond to each person.  Yeah, I hope that made sense.

In 2 weeks I go in for an endoscope.  I've been having reflux problems for a while.  I saw the gastro Dr. today.  It seems pretty straight forward.  I'm nervous about the proceedure.

I guess that's all for now.
