snowing here, too.  the robins aren't happy.  neither am I.  nice all friggin' week and then cold and crappy on the weekend.

drain still not working right for the washer.  I'm babysitting it today.  will never get laundry done at this rate.  egawd, I do not want to go to the laundromat.

found some high-end mint M&Ms, but the filling is white chocolate and dark chocolate (can you say twice as much fat?) and the shells are soft, not crunchy like M&Ms are supposed to be.  I like them, but not as much as the ones out at Xmas time.

guess I'll go hang out with the washing machine now.

Grimm chewed up his new collar. I told him I'm disappointed in him and he only gets ugly collars from now on.

Need to go get some groceries, I think. Otherwise shall be a lazy day. May take the young dogs to the park to walk around so they'll crash for the rest of the day

It's been an interesting day.  Cher & I were on the tracking field when the storms blew through here.  Poor princess was already having issues with the track, & as soon as the rain started coming down, she was done.  She just sat there & stared at me as if to say "Ummm it's raining.  You know I'll melt if I stay out here too long."  We left because it was quite clear that she was done for the day.

On the way home, we stopped at Petsmart.  Everything was going great, I was heeling her on aisles that weren't horribly crowded, & she was even willing to say hi to a few people instead of being her usual snobby self.  Then this middle aged man (think late 40s to early 50s) decides to stare her down, bark & growl at her.  She was obviously very annoyed & frustrated by the jerk, but she handled herself very nicely.  I can say that her bark is, finally, completely on cue, & her self control was spectacular, at least at that moment....

Three aisles later, I am looking at a lifejacket for Schatzi, Cher is sitting next to me, & the "barker" walks up next to us to look at a collar.  Cher watched him carefully, measured everything out, & then nosepunched him square in the crotch.  As he doubled over, she got in his face & stared him down.  I could just hear here telling him "bark at me again, jerk".  As we walked away, she pranced around, so proud & arrogantly.  She is soooo MY girl!

Bevo's suture line is swollen to high heaven.  I'm hot packing it to try to get some of the swelling down.  At least he doesn't act like it hurts.  Of course, I could cut one of his legs off with a dull pair of scissors, & he wouldn't flinch, so maybe it does hurt & he's just not letting on.

Pirate came down the stairs 30 minutes ago to see my brother as he came in the door. E goes, 'what's wrong with his leg?' Uh, nothing was wrong with his leg an hour ago! He's holding up his back right leg and not putting any pressure on it - he wagged his tail at little bro, ate a treat, and is laying around looking sad. His back leg is trembling and he's holding it progressively higher - 30 mins ago he had his toes on the ground, but now he has his foot 1-2 inches off the ground. I can't decide if I should go to the e-vet or not - I'm waiting it out for another hour and then going if he's not getting better.

Do I even have to ask? Vibes please.

Poor Pirate.  Good vibes heading his way!

Oh no, poor Pi.  I hope it's nothing serious and you know I'm throwing so many good vibes toward Florida for him.

It's been a pretty good day.  It's very cool and breezy but feels so clean and fresh outside.  Everything is growing and sprouting and coming to life. I ended up cleaning all the windows this afternoon while Charles was napping.  Now I feel pretty righteous about sitting on my duff and watching the boob tube after dinner.

Cher, you know that if you act like Amanda, you will have a rep as a beautiful, tough as nails chick with a heart of gold, don't ya? Smile  Grrrrr to dumb people who would bark and confront a dog.  What a complete idiot. He's lucky he didn't get bitten. I think she showed remarkable restraint and so did you, Amanda.

    Our best vibes for Pi!

Cher there are a lot of idiots you'll get used to them

I've been giggling at that Cher story for like 20 minutes now.  Well done Cher!  and Pirate - I hope it's nothing serious!  I'm thinking of you and Meg.

Wish me and FH good luck tomorrow morning.  He has his MRI at 8am.  I foolishly said I'd go with him - I really don't want to get up and go to the hospital for 8am!  Yuck.  I really hope it's not as bad as the Ortho seems to think it is.  It would be nice if he doesn't have to have surgery.  The Orthopedic Surgeon said he tore his MCL, and most likely tore his ACL and meniscus.  I hope there is some chance he is just a crappy doctor and is wrong.  heheh.

I have a consulatation for my wedding cake on Tuesday!  I need to decide what I want.

Had the scariest thing ever while exercising three of the four dogs. We took all of the boys to the fenced in area at the park. All were running around like goofs. Then we noticed that Aesop and Grimm were out of the fenceIndifferent  I scooped up Jules (who doesn't wander and was by my side) and we ran off after them. Thank heavens Grimm has a good recall and came right back, and Aesop was both dragging a leash and trapped himself in the bathroom that was thereConfused

Our fault, as we totally forgot to do the normal gate check we always do..we came in one gate, but forgot to check the other, as it's usually always closed.'

Scary, but it all worked out. And I now have three tired dogs..and the elf, who is always up for sleepingStick out tongue

Yikes!  I'm glad that Grimm & Aesop are ok.

Shooter is having an allergy flare up.  I swear, all that I have said to him, over & over, today is "Shooter, stop licking your feet.  Shooter, stop licking your who who."

    Tongue TiedAesop, LOL!

Amanda, Willow's having the same issue with the same region.  I picked up a large vat of Panalog this morning.  Willow's face after having it applied= Embarrassed

Whoops, but I did LOL at him getting "trapped in the bathroom".

Gracie introduced me to a guy at the parade last weekend by poking his crotch.  We wouldn't have met if she hadn't.  I just learned he was actually scared when she did it.  He's not a dog person, so I don't see this working out long-term, but, whatevs.

I am over my head in comparing growth rates, return on equity, profit margins, etc for my last paper of the semester for Business.  Guess I should have purchased the textbook, but I've gotten this far without it.  Teaching myself online what all of this means, then trying to hunt down the data on the company plus one competitor, then trying to analyze the data comparing the two companies... Um.  If you followed all of that, you're doing better than me right now.  *sigh*, back to the grind...  Coffee has been helpful, except now I'm peeing every 30 mins - or is that 90 mins. Time is flying while I dig around in all this crap.

Good vibes to Pirate before I forget... Hope there's an "easy" answer and he's going to be okay.  Hugs for the worry Meg is feeling tonight for both Pirate & her FH.

OK, really back to the grind now...
