The weather has been spectacular so we've been swimming the dogs some. The water is still cold, & not everyone is willing to brave the cold water. Bevo loves to retrieve things, so the water is the perfect way for him to be able to play without stressing his fragile neck.
Bevo heads out for his bumper.
Cher is watching carefully, in hopes of learning the secret to swimming.
She loves to "help" him carry his bumper.
Cher's turn! "Dis looks like it mite be too far out fer me."
Stretch for it.
"Got it!!!"
"Hey Cher. How's the water?"
"I can get da bumper too."
"But I prefer jus swimmin."
And then he smiles.
After the swimming is done, it's time for a run.
