    anyone know who to make dog shoes so that an older dog can get up better on hardwood floors

    I'm not sure how you make them but you could try the booties that sled dogs wear for traction.  And depending on the size of the dog, you could try the little soft bootie slippers with the rubber tread on the bottom that babies wear.  Just attach a strip of velcro around the ankle to keep them in place.

    Keeping thenails and hair on the bottom of the pads trimmed goes a long way to helping dogs get a grip on floors, too.  I like the idea of the kiddie slipper socks.  Why didn't I think of that?  LOL
