Wow, we've had a stretch of 4 or 5 days of glorious weather.  People are coming out of their houses & reconnecting again.  I took Aspen to our acupuncturist today.  I always know that it's a good thing & whoever is going is going to feel better after the session. That includes me.  I seem to get some calming energy from the office.  Anyway, I love driving up to Dr. L's office.  It's up near a place called Hawk Mountain & the Appalacian Trail.  Anywho, I learned something interesting today.  You may or may not remember but Aspen had a bout of Pancreatitis a while back.  He also has a sore back.  Where Aspen's back is sore is also the point for digestive issues in the chinese model.  I thought that was pretty interesting.

Anyway, that's all for me.  Good vibes for those having unwanted drama in their lives & ((HUGS)) for everyone.

Paige, thanks for the Mayday update.  I'm so sorry about your nephew.

 Just had my neighbor call me & tell me there were two yellow labs outside my house. Luckily I was home, of course my dogs were going NUTS! they seemed nice, the female came right up to me,all bouncy and crazy.  I opened the gate to the front yard & they went right in, before I could do anything else, the female found and tennis ball & dropped it at me feet!! LOL

threw it a couple times to get her less 'bouncy' so i could read her tags! It worked, turns out they live down the road, and the owners were just on their way home. They came & got em. yay for people who actually have tags on their dogs!

of course I bring Zoey out to go to work and she's convinced there is still something to bark at when we walk out the door. gah!!

I swear I'm the neighborhood animal wrangler, dogs get out, people call me, horses get out they call me, mini horses get out, they call me LOL!!

Well sunshine is back at my house sleeping at my feet. I feel so bad. The family was crying. they really wanted it to work out. So did I :( now I need to decide what to do with her. Gawd. She really needs someone with more time than I have.

Between work and sunny, I drove over 350 miles today. I wasn't expecting that when I woke up this morning!

Ugh, that sounds horrible but I hate long drives. I wish I could take Sunshine but the 2 divas I have now probably wouldn't take well to a new addition. I just can't believe it'd be that hard to place her. She's beautiful and sweet.

I got a call from my BFF and she got laid off today. She knew it was coming but still sounded bummed about it. I feel awful for her but I'm also a little jealous. I don't want to be laid off but just the idea of not having to get up early for a few weeks would be really nice.

Poor Sunshine.  The good thing is, she is able to come back to be with you instead of sitting at a shelter until you can find her a perfect home.

That would be very tempting but she lives in Florida. Hopefully I can convince her to fly out her for awhile though. She went thru this a few years ago and I brought her out for a week of fun. She is going to be worrying about money but I have enough airline miles to take care of the ticket for her. I need a good excuse to take some time off too.

Ummm, wow!  Can't believe I'm just now getting here.  Has been one of those days that just was non-stop, jam packed.

DS will be here sometime in the morning hours....likely after I wake up since he got off to a late start, and has strict instructions to stop and truck stops and nap when the urge hits. 

But, dang, I can't WAIT to see him!

Next time, maybe I'll come out and drive for you. I like to be the move. I don't mind driving much at all. I've gone 600 miles in 18 hours or so. I'm going at least 300 miles on Friday, but actually more, because I am working in the morning before I head to CT. 

Poor Sunshine.  I hope that something can be worked out for her.

I am annoyed with a friend.  I introduced her to a friend of mine, & now they are dating.  It is, apparently, getting serious which I am thrilled about.  The thing that's annoying me is that, now, she feels that she has to clear everything through him before she agrees to anything.  Today, I asked her if she wanted to have lunch tomorrow.  Instead of a yes or no, I got "I'll have to make sure that it's ok with ******* first."  For crying out loud, it's lunch!  It's not like I asked her to hop in the car & escape to Mexico for a few days with no notice.  I don't think that anything annoys me more than people who act like that.

Cher got a new nickname this evening.  We had a private session with one of our trainers this evening.  We were working on heeling & somehow, my feet got tangled & I ended up on the floor next to her.  I accidentally dropped the MF bomb, & suddenly Cher got all cute & did waggy butt at me.  She had been a little flat until then. 

While laughing at me, our trainer pointed out that the most animation that I had gotten out of Cher was when I dropped the MF bomb.  This revalation led to some experimenting on my part, & some very nice recalls by Cher.  DH put his foot down, & said that we would not, under any circumstances, refer to her as MF-er.  No matter how much she likes it.
