Today's Hike

A friend and I hiked to one of the summits in Crowders Mountain State Park (in NC) this afternoon. She brought her little terrier/BC? mix, Wrigley, and I brought Kes. These photos were taken at the end of the trail - 1.7mi one way and almost all up hill! Of course we had to hike back down, but that was a lot easier. Total of 3.4 miles and I still felt great by the end, even with carrying a pack.

Kes and Wrigs love each other, but no pics of them together because they tend to be a big black/white/tan blur lol.

Oh my, Kes does look all grown up! He's turned into such a pretty dog.

It looks like a great hike.

Great photos and cute pup. Love the head tilt. I'm jealous though, wish we had mountains back here in boring IN.

LOL but at least you don't have to drive an hour to get to the good hiking spots. Wink There's some good agility trials in the area we're moving to - you could always come hang out for a weekend and take advantage of the mountains! We'll actually have a fenced yard for the first time in about 7 years!!
