Good News!!!!

Sally's x-rays were normal! It appears as though the cancer was limited to the tumor! We are still going to keep a close eye on the spot and are going to do the prednizone anyway I think just in case. We are going to wiat to start that until her foot and back are healed though....

But yay!

Ha! I don't trust her as far as I can throw her with that foot--it's still all cone, all the time at our house. A few nights ago she let Jack eat the scab off the healing wound on her back from the non-cancerous growth though. He took off the whole scab, the dead skin, and the anti-biotic numbing powder that then made his mouth go numb..... Ick!

Mast cell is the 'preferred' type of cancer if you gotta have cancer because it can stay localized. But it can recur -- there are things like maitake mushrom that can help protect healthy cells -- and as I said in the other thread, that's one of the focus points of TCVM -- to keep the blood moving properly and I've seen it do marvelous things with mast cell to discourage it from recurring. Holler if you want that info.
