Thought I would introduce myself!

Well, my name is Melanie. I just found this site, which is surprising since I do searches all the time for animal lover forums! Anyway, I am an animal lover. I take in many rescues, actually, almost all of my cats came from the SPCA, or the streets...

I have 25 cats. I guess I will name them all, colors, etc!

I also have 10 rats. I will name their colors, etc.. you probably will have no idea what I am talking about,,,lol

Psy-Siamese female (very aggresive, got from a rescue)

Pyro-Same as above..

2 fancy mice

Spam Lite-Fawn and white male mouse
Moozilla-black and white male mouse

1 three toed box turtle Tella!!

Hope to visit here often, and I will post photos soon, i need to get some sleep!

Happy that you were able to find idog it's a great place to meet other animal lovers and learn from eachother, can't wait to see the pics of your crew when you post them.

Goodness, that's quite the crew!! And people here think I'm nuts with my six german shepherds and four cats.....

Yay for dachshunds! Although I couldn't imagine having that many at once. I think you beat all the people on the dachshund board I go on!

WOW!!! I just recently adopted my chi/dachshund mix puppy and just him alone with 2 small non-furry kids are quite enough for me at the moment! LOL Welcome to I-Dog and I'm looking forward to chatting with you, especially being that I'm sure your a Dachshund expertand I haveso many questions all the time with it being my first one.[

Thank you everyone!! Yes, it is quite the handful. The cats have their own room, and access to outdoors at all times (special fence topper to keep them in our back yard). The dogs have a room they stay in during the day with access to the back yard.And they sleep with us at night!. The computer is actually in their room!

We also have an extra room for the rodents, and turtle! Alot of work, but I love to do it!

Wow, there are alot of people here that have a bunch of dogs!!

Smillee.. whats the name of the board? I have been looking for some dachshund boards!

I love dachshunds a great deal, but I really want to get a saint bernard, great dane, and anatolian shepard!! (many years from now!!)

twelvepaws, not too much land, maybe 4 acres.. the dogs and cats are only allowed on 2 of those acres..(my brothers wife keeps his horses on our land, 6..I like to ride them!)
