I have often been a procrastinator about getting my school work done. I haven't quite done 8 years yet, but I'll be there, soon enough. I was actually really good about getting stuff done over winter break. I had some things to complete, that I actually had the whole semester to work on, and I finished those all the other day. I'm happy about that, because now I don't have to look at them at all. I also have the beginnings of two of my projects started. That just reminded me that I have some more data to put into one of them. That was actually originally going to be the second one, but I think it's now becoming the first one. I can almost finish that one, minus the rest of the data I need to get, and graphing. I think I will actually do that right now.  I pretty much have to start work on another project right away, because if I can't make it work, I need to move on and start working on something else.

I am little disappointed because the summer class schedules changed. Now, there is nothing I haven't taken that runs on a weekend. My only option would be something that is weekly on Thursdays, because I can't do Mondays or Wednesdays. I have to find out if I have to go into the next semester of mentoring though, or if I can delay that, to determine whether I will take a class this summer or just do the mentoring. I want to get out some time this decade though, so I really hope that I can push off the mentoring, and take a class. Then I can do the mentoring when I can get in a weekend class again. Needless to say, I'm a little unhappy about the whole thing. This summer is just looking really nutso for me.

Willow ran and zoomed the entire trail!  I could not believe her energy.  I've been underestimating her I guess.

So I have to write a paper evaluating three sources to use for investigating/reviewing a business.  Two can be online sources (Dun & Bradstreet, Morningstar, etc), but one has to be unavailable online.  I went to our library and found mostly local publications, not much for national companies that isn't available online.  I thought the Hoovers book I found would work, but its a D&B company, and parts of the info are available online if you pay for the subscription.... so, shoot, what else could be a source not found online that could be used for evaluating a company?  I have a headache...

I took the boys to the new park today. This is the second time Casey has been. they had a great time! I really love this new place :) It's all open - trails to run on (fenced in, but the place is huge!) we had some, well, a lot of rain yesterday, so a little pond formed. Harley turned into the swamp creature and had a blast! I only got a few pictures on my phone.. we'll have to go back with the real camera!

I cut my hair today - nice man did a great job, as always :)

I think I'm going to go rent Ice Age, and curl up with the pups and some popcorn for the night!

because she nose punched him in the crotch in order to get his attention.  As he crumpled to the ground, Shooter, Angel, & Brinxx tried to go check on him.  I apologized profusely.  It was really kind of embarrassing.

I find this hilariously funny though! Love the visual. ROFL

It would be funny, but I haven't figured out how to make the nose punching stop!  Ignoring her jumping, & biting has been really effective, but now she's resorted to nose punching for attention.  It is almost impossible to ignore being nose punched in the crotch, butt, or boob!

Jackie, do you know if the riverwalk is up & running?  I read in the Statesman that it was recieving a facelift, & didn't see an estimated time of completion.

I think that I am going to take DH away for Valentine's Day.  I'm having serious thoughts about Puerto Vallarta.

In case I didn't mention it......the french toast is very best with the fat Texas toast.  We enjoyed it IMMENSELY!

I am happy to report that the stove didn't grab hold of me and chain me today, and that ALL I did in the kitchen was to package food for the freezer and make the french toast.  DH cooked the bacon.  DS did the dishes!

Ladies, I'm willing, but, yeah, warm it up for me first ok?

and usually carb-based cravings, right?  All I've wanted is crackers.  I settled on a rice cake.  I really need to get this final draft done - I hate shooting for something in the dark without knowing what direction the prof expects things to end up.  Not even a general word count.  Bizarre.

I am surprised, but I tried Pantene Restoratives conditioner tonight and my hair is shinier and bouncier than with my previous conditioners, which tends to dull things down as it tries to counteract frizzled crinkled hair that sometimes comes out.  I hope it will look even better tomorrow. lol

They drain it every year for cleaning but it's refilled and ready to go according their website. :)    The riverwalk never closes but it's not quite as charming to walk along a muddy channel.  It's always funny to read about what they find in there.  The tourists spend their dollars and lose all sorts of things when they visit. lol
