    Mc wed

4 day weekend, here I come. I just need to get through today!

I found a store that carries orijen!! Until recently nobody in mi sold it. The store is great (and only 20 mins away). They only sell top of the line foods (they told and iams rep no) and they sell puzzle toys, tuff toys, mukluks, etc. All the stuff you don't see at big chain retailers. Its my dream pet store. They even called orijen for me last night to find out the iron content in each food.

My nose is very stuffy atm.

I have sar training tonight. Its a 40 min drive away. Bleh.

Today started off with some giggles.  Grady has started to try & snuggle with DH on his recliner.  He only made it half way up.  That in itself is cute to me.  Then DH & Grady started singing to eachother.  It was sooooo cute.  No camera so I can't share it.  You'll just have to use your imagination. :)

Julie, I think I'd be happy to trade noses....mine is running like a faucet.

I have to run out for a few things for the dogs today, but other than that, I'm done with all the shopping.  Thankfully.  I have everything boxed and ready to wrap.  If I box it I don't have to hide in the bedroom to wrap, and it bothers my back to lean to wrap on the bed.  Later I can bring everything out and get it wrapped on the table.  All neatly boxed and a penciled initial where only I would find it!

I have not been able to find Christmas boxers this year.  I'd really like to find some since those are a tradition, but I've checked a ton of places......I DID finally find mens sweaters at Beal Outlet.  Even Walmart and KMart didn't have those this year.  Has anyone else discovered the joy that is Beal Outlet??  Great brands, great prices!

Annie, I bet that WAS cute.  Not cute is a gsd trying to snuggle in the recliner!!

I was just canceled for tomorrow morning, so I get to sleep in a bit before working. Yay! I also got my grade for my class. I did way better than I thought, 96.25.

It's so freakin cold today. Like 23 or so. I do not want to go back out.

How can store managers who are responsible for 1000s of dollars in cash daily be so illiterate when calculating petty cash?

I'm going to be a little scarce, as much as I'd like to play, because if I don't get my work done, I won't be able to leave at noon on Xmas Eve.  I know all of you are devastated - having to go without my wit and genius.

First it's Deb who is missing and now you. We'll carry on but it won't be the same. Have a nice break from work, Tina and give Agnes some snuggles from me. :)

Bah Humbug sums up my mood and the only saving grace is I get almost four days off. I'll come in tomorrow to do payroll and then I'm out of here. I am looking forward to seeing the Lion King this weekend but other than that I just want the whole Christmas thing over.

Is it that Barks place by K-zoo?  I think that's where my friend got her Orijen.

Alright everyone, I have my Christmas day movie and Chinese food plans. I think I'll go see Nine at 11:20, then go to the buffet, then go back to see Sherlock Holmes at 3:10. My friend and I couldn't agree to one movie, so we're going to see both.

My dishwasher was delivered yesterday, in the back of a pickup.  haha.  They have all 3 trucks out right now trying to get everything delivered so that they can have Christmas Eve off.  I don't blame them.    So my new shiny black dishwasher is in place, but not hooked up.  Did anyone else know that a dishwasher does not come with a plug in?  I did not know this.  I guess its because lots of people wire it right in to their main electrical systems, but I have a plug right behind specifically for the dishwasher, so I have to put a plug on it.  Not so hard, but I never thought to by a plug!  My dad is gonna come up and install it for me...or rather, he's gonna show me how to do it myself, is what he said.  That's ok.  I like to learn.

I got my dogs a smaller bag of Acana Pacifica on Monday.  I had just bought a big bag of Horizon Legacy on Sunday, and my friend called Monday morning to ask if I wanted to go for a ride with her to Kenora, so I grabbed a bag of Acana when I got there.  I also got the dogs some Busy Buddy something or others.  Basically its two halves made of rubber that screw together and you can fill it with food or treats.  They've been eating their meals out of it since Monday, and I don't feel so bad only feeding 3/4 of a cup at a time, so they get fed twice a day now instead of just once!

I have all my wrapping spread out on the living room floor.  The dogs are confused as to why they aren't allowed in there right now, and come charging to the gate everytime I open it.  They know I'm home and the kids aren't, so they should be allowed in right?  Hehe, not with all kinds of wrapping paper and pinecones and cinnamon sticks around.

Sad - You'll be missed, so hurry up and get your work done and get back here.

I was angry with DH last night and went to bed earlier than usual. I had a list of reasons and none of them were biggies but a lot of little stuff. Fortunately, both of us get over stuff easily and this morning was like nothing happened. I kind of wanted to still be mad, but I just don't have it in me. Hmm

Today's my last day of work until Jan 4th. That seems like such a long time but I know it'll go by fast. I managed to get caught up on stuff yesterday too, so today should be a breeze.

Annie, shame on you for not having your camera ready!!!! Stick out tongue

Julie, I have some SAR questions.  Any advice on exercises would be good to lay a foundation, for a puppy, for SAR?

I need a margarita.  That is all.  For now....

I could go for one of those too!

I so do not feel like being at work, but today is my last day until Jan 4th too. I have a ton of running around to do at lunch - I have to get stocking stuffers for FH. I am so disorganized for Christmas this year, I have no idea why. I feel like I'm going to forget someone, I should probably buy a couple of extra general gifts. hehe.

I woke up cuddling a large black dog......I was pretty certain it was FH, but no, he had already gotten up. This happens often. I'm terribly sleepy until I have my tea.

It's a little early here, but I'll take one too. I prefer mine on the rocks.

I'm disappointed. I got my Old Navy order in yesterday and the sleep pants I bought are too big. I ordered medium because I'd bought something similar in small a long time ago, and they were too small. Small would've been perfect for these pants though and now they don't have them available on the website and I know the store probably doesn't either. What a waste of time and now I'll need to take them back after Christmas. Bah! I should just accept that online shopping doesn't work very well for me and clothes. :(

I went to Old Navy yesterday looking for a pair of pants I had seen online, but no go, they weren't in the store. I'm not sure of what size I would need. I'm tempted to buy both sizes, and return one, but that's a pain in the butt. I may have to return both, because I am not sure how these particular pants would look hemmed, and I know I will have to hem them. If I leave really early for work, I can check the store in the mall over near Princeton. I don't want to venture near a mall though. I need wiper blades too, and refused to pay the dealership $30 to do it, so I need to venture near a mall or shopping area in order to get those. It's supposed to rain Friday, and I don't want to go without new ones in the crappy weather. I should see if that mall has an auto parts store near it.

I think returning to Old Navy is pretty easy.  I've ordered swim suits in several sizes (bottoms are NEVER consistent!) and I think I just put the too big ones back in the shipping bag and taped on a label that was either already included or maybe something I printed from their site.
