"Pedigree dogs exposed"

• Chuffy Posted : 12/24/2009 1:03:44 PM I've been thinking about it, and if the logic about breeders is correct (ban them all, including the good ones, because they open to the door to the rest....) then surely we should ban all shelters, because some are disreputable or unethical.  We should ban all dog ownership, because some people are irresponsible about it and/or cruel.  When you follow the argument to its logical conclusion, it falls apart. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • DougB Posted : 12/24/2009 2:08:28 PM This would seem to be the AR goal-ban dog ownership.  This would of course destroy the species , as dogs have been bred to live with man for a long time.  Stop buying from breeders to put them out of business, and get dogs only from rescues(responsible ones) where they are spay/neutered.  The only dogs left breeding are feral, and they will die off pretty quickly.  That would really bring down the population of dogs in shelters and rescues.  The breeds disappear and you are left with a few generic dogs in the hands of the few who are able to care for them. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
