I can't imagine what the mood must be like there. Very sad situation.

It's very, very sad.  I just heard the shooter is not dead but in stable condition.  I can't imagine what the entire community up there is feeling right now.  Killeen is where the recent animal shelter fire happened.  The soldiers from Fort Hood were heavily involved in rebuilding the shelter. Please spare a prayer or good thought for all of them. 

Ewww.  Carev is soo not cute!  Sloane, on the other hand, is HOT.

Just read all the posts here....I'm so relieved everyone's family at Ft. Hood are safe.

Ugh. I've got an ear infection, and a fever. On a Thursday night. Who thinks I'll get in to my Dr. Friday morning? NOT ME! Frigging fantastic.

And to top it off - the dog has discovered a love of playing in the mud. So the nice, new, fleece sheets I bought yesterday had tiny little paw prints ALL OVER them when I came home from work... this has been going on for like a week now....

I told him one more shot - and he's going on craigslist! (kidding... mostly)

I missed the news tonight but I thought he was dead. I hate to wish anyone dead, but.........

Sassy seems fine today, so no idea what that horrible leaking was yesterday but glad it's better. I'll get the results of the urine test tomorrow.

Everyone else is probably fast asleep by now and I'll be there soon.

I truly hope that he survives, so that, hopefully, families of the victims can get the answers that they deserve.  If he refuses to talk, then he should be tortured until he talks or until he dies a slow & painful death.  He deserves absolutely nothing less than a slow, painful death.
