I just called and she's only now waking up. They told me I could come ahead and get her if I want. I WANT! LOL They just gas her down since sedatives have a nasty side effect with her. No teethies pulled, just cleaned. Big sigh of relief! Now my day can go a lot better. :) Thanks for asking.

Yay! I know exactly how relieved you're feeling right now. It'll be even sweeter when she's back home again too.

Jackie, can you use the feathers during the week & still have the energy to come to work the next day? 

 

Now that's the big question and I've been wondering if I can go home and take a power nap this afternoon.  I'm sure the men I work with will understand.  lol  Now this how my mind works.  That made me think of those ED medication commercials where they always say "ask your doctor if you're healthy enough for sexual activity".  I always think, if the doc is a man he will say "of course you are and if you keel over during, isn't it worth it?"

That is sooo what a guy would say cuz isn't that the way they all want to go???  ROFL!

I also laugh 4 hour warning. Wouldn't they be showing it off?

Really good news to hear about Bugsy! 

I'll be on my way to Austin in a couple of hours...working there tomorrow then taking DD out for birthday dinner.  Of course, she has big plans with her friends on Saturday which is her birthday....so I get her first the night before.  Works for me!

Hope all is well....can't wait to hear more about the Bugsman.

BTW, I have no updates on the shop GSD aside from her getting caught.  I was at the shop doing payroll last evening, and the owner/mechanic wasn't there, nor was the dog.  All I can do is hope for the best.  If he needs my help, he knows where I am and knows I'm willing to help.

Apparently, there have been shootings at Fort Hood.  The report here is that there are 7 dead, & others injured.  That's the base that my older brother is at.  He isn't answering his phone, & I'm worried.  Good thoughts please.

I just got a CNN alert on that. Not much info available though. I'll definitely keep thinking good thoughts for your brother and hope you hear something soon.

Oh no.  One of my cousins daughter's is at Fort Hood with her husband and their three kids. I can't reach my cousin on the phone.  She's probably freaking out and driving up there right now.  Praying for your brother Amanda.  Praying for everyone involved.

Good vibes for you Amanda.  I so hope your bro is okay.  *worried*  I'm watching CNN right now.  Ft Hood is on lockdown.  That's about all they're saying.  There's more shooting going on.  Crud, I hate this stuff.

I'm getting impatient to hear more news on the B-man & Karen.  So glad to hear he made it out of surgery.

Cathy, I think it took about a week for me to get culture results for Maghee.

On the good news front, I ran errands today & wore REAL shoes on both feet.   I'm trying to get in walking shape for Nawlins.  :)

The fatality and injured list is growing.  The 3 shooters were soldiers.  One of those dead....

Geesh, that seems like a long time and especially so if there is an infection.

I have a stomach ache. Someone left a diet green tea with ginger ale in my fridge, so I'm drinking that and it's surprisingly good. Hopefully it'll help my tummy.

I just got word that both of my nieces are sick & not on base today.  That's good news.  Still waiting on word from my brother.

No further news on Bugsy - being the master of patience that I am (yea right) I am going to wait until morning to get the details.  He was so good toddling off with them it was when they told me he was waking up that I felt sick.  I can imagine him thinking whoa what the h*ck sort of playdate was this?  I thought we were going swimming LOL

Glad that Jezzy is cleared to go home!
