Mindless toosday

I think tonight I am going to switch to a tylenol PM for my before bed mint. I have done nothing but toss and turn the last 3 nights. I pulled a muscle or something in my left hip area so bending and sitting actually hurt. And the time change is not helping.

I have imposed a computer embargo on myself. So I will not be posting alot here, or playing much on Facebook, well except for Bejeweled Blitz, cause I can. But I will be keeping up with things and checking in from time to time. I just need to back off for a bit.

Now, someone mentioned a nap?

Praise heaven, I slept until almost 6 this morning!  Why ANY part of the state of FL is in the central time zone is totally beyond me....and the early darkness just kicks my a$$.  I absolutely hate having the time messed with.

On a good news front....I don't have a lot to do today.  That's going to be a nice change after all last week.

 Um, where can I get an Embargo...I need a heavy one.  I meant to clean my house last night so I wouldn't have to rush around this morning, but by the time I got up to do it, it was 11:00 and time for bed.  The magnetic field around my computer desk is insane.  I can usually leave it alone if I stay in the other end of the house, but come anywhere near the kitchen and the next think I know I'm here...or FB...yoville is terrible did you know?

Well, depends. I went and set my work computer to remember NOTHING. If I want to go to a site I have to type it in, if it is a site I need to sign in on I have to type all that in as well. And my email that I use for some of the sites is ******************************* and the password is *************. I made them hard to crack, and also a pain to enter.

As for facebook, my Cafe has it's doors down so that I can build up food, I have no crops and no fish. Sorry, Yoville and Farmville are more than I can handle. I basically set the games so that I only need to visit once a day or every other day or so.

 I hate time change BUT Samantha told me at 7 last night she was tired and going to bed. I told her to go right ahead! Lol. Her bedtime isnt till 9! Of course I wanted to go to bed too but I had shows to watch. Im already missing my Saturday and Sundays show due to working now. I get a paycheck Friday! Might call in and see if I can do some overtime Friday.

I hear ya' on the embargo.  I kill all my fish in fishworld and haven't done anything at my farm in forever except water my flowers.  I somehow feel guilty at neglecting them both.  Weird, I know it's just a computer game but I can't help but feel terrible when my fish are floating belly up and my flowers are all dried up and brown.  I think I have a zoo somewhere too and I also had a puppy that I lost track of on fb.

Cathy, I hope you enjoy your last day before you go back to work. 

Barbara, sending Buddy some take it easy vibes from one old timer to another. :)  Any further word on the GSD at the shop?

I am in full blown pms mode, which, according to my secretary, is a really bad thing.  So far, I've made two people cry.  Sadly, I wasn't trying to, & both times, I was actually holding back what I really wanted to say.  I have closed the office door for a while in hopes that my mood will improve.

I got this crazy idea last night to try and take a photo for a Christmas card before B was a mess, since DH isn't back until after the surgery I decided to try to do it today. Bwa ha ha ha - some real bad ones but one good one.  It's a bit too light (overexposed) can that be fixed with photoshop?  I'll post it in photos for a laugh

I have a feeling that tonight I am going to watch a tearjerker and have a bit of booze.  Just how I feel.

You can try taking the pink slips and throwing them around the office, waiting for your crew to hunt them down?  Just kidding.  I understand the frustration.

Jackie, no more news on my shop girl.  But, I personally, haven't been up there since I heard she was "safe" and in the office.  I asked my DH if he talked to the owner/mechanic, and he said he had been out all day, so he hadn't.  I go do payroll tomorrow evening, I'm definately going to poke my head over there to see how she is doing.

:( - I'm sorry but I do think a massage sounds very nice right about now. I have achey shoulders and my neck hurts. I'm sure it's just from the flight but some spa treatments would do me wonders. I still daydream about that facial I had last week. I think I should try to fit one of those in more often. Has anyone tried the Clarisonic? It was one of Oprah's favorites last year or the year before and the girl used it when she did my facial. It felt amazing and from what I read, it sounds like it'd be nice to have but I'm not sure it's worth the price.

I found a big pee spot in the master bedroom. It was dry and I didn't notice it last night. We never, ever have problems with accidents in the house so I'm guessing the dog sitter missed the cue to go out. I used my spot carpet cleaner but I'm not sure it did the trick. I'll know better when it dries.

I'm going against the grain and am going to admit that I'm in a really good mood today. I just had someone offer to help me train Neiko in SAR tonight and the wheels are in motion to have a girl scout group work with Neiko and I weekly.  I set up a demo for them this sunday so the girls and parents can meet the dogs and watch experienced dogs work. Then the girls have a schedule once a week - 2 girls at a time - to be "victims" for Neiko to find. How cool is that? The girl scout troop is really excited since dog stuff is part of their award thing they are going for this year.

I'm very busy at work so the day is flying and 3 of us just went in on pizza for lunch.

AND it's not raining!

I found a big pee spot in the master bedroom. It was dry and I didn't notice it last night.

 That sucks.  Reminds me that I need to build Henry's crate, because he's been peeing in the house.  His owner can't manage to do it, so it's up to me.  She agrees he needs to be crated, but she still hasn't cleaned the pee from her collection of CD's that was in a metal bucket that he peed on.  It remains in the back hall for her to clean.

Meanwhile, her boss just gave her notice, so now my sister has to fly to the home office in San Diego on Monday for some meetings about budget, re-org, etc.  Means I have an extra ticket to the Broncos/Steelers game Monday night, since she'll be gone.  I know next to nobody here.... the girl I work with hates football. 

 I work Saturday and Sunday nights 10 hours at Amazon for 10.90. I will probably volunteer to work on Fridays 5 hours. I've been borrowing the MIL's Blazer since March when JJ's Explorer broke and I'd like to give it back sometime. JJ doesnt seem to want to fix the Explorer. So the plan is to make my own money and get my own car.
