mindless messed up Moanday

    Hello ladies.......and gents.

Busy busy busy. Nice to know I'm not the only one with the daylights savings blues.

I am trying to research, and having no luck, the value of some buttons my Gran left me. Now these are carded streamline buttons, the kind you ordered off of in the stores. If I was to guess I would say maybe 70's.

Some are beautiful and some make me scratch my head and wonder what they were thinking. So I just sent an email to the button society here in Kentucky to see if they can put me in touch with someone.

    The boy is bored..............

The time change messed me up, too -- I woke up an hour too early Sad and couldn't get back to sleep.

This was really a MOAN day for me -- everything that could go wrong, did, and I have a feeling I'll be making up for it all week.

Karen, sorry to hear about everything you have going on.  Good thoughts for you and your family!

Candace, sorry to hear about your issues with Tyler and the girls.  Even if it's 'normal' it doesn't make it easier.  ((hugs))

Amanda, Lola is a cutie and is lucky to have you guys!!

Cathy, have a safe trip home, hope your DH's back makes the trip.

Barbara, I'm off to go find pics of Buddy Smile

Yay for miss Maghee!  Soooo happy to hear she has been doing a bit better and is so happy for her food!

I'm off to go watch baseball I guess -- there isn't much else on.  Fitting end to my rather annoying day, hoping Tuesday isn't nearly so frustrating.

Passes Nicole a glass of wine. Drinks

Annie, thanks for that video!!!  I have been singing Copacabana to her.  I'm pretty sure that she thinks that I'm nuts. Smile

I have to brag on my big idiot.  This evening, Bev had a skin tag, & a small swelling on his chest removed.  They were both small, so we opted to use local anesthesia as opposed to general anesthesis.  He sat there, looking bored, while the tumors were removed.  He never flinched!

Afterwards, my friend went ahead & ultrasounded his leg again.  He has went from 12 tears to one tear, so she feels confident that he isn't in a relapse, but instead hurt it acting like an idiot.

He has another mass on his shoulder that is going to require general anesthesia to remove.  The samples that were taken out of it to be analyzed only showed debris cells, so it's likely that it is just leftover junk from an insect sting.  It really bothers me that it's there, so I'll get it removed.

You know....the problem with feeling better, is that sometimes you overdo it.  Buddy started limping pretty badly this evening...his front left foot.  Earlier I noticed when we were walking, his back leg was limping...so I took him home and continued the houligan's walk.  Rest for the old man this evening and night.  Also, I gave him a Tramadol...so I know that will help take the edge off.

I have a ton of work to close out the month.

Angry I hate the first workday of a new month for this very reason.

Add to that the craziness with this Visa program we're trying to get into to bring some workers in from Mexico for next year.  Ya know, it's no wonder programs like this exist...we had to do a "recruiting effort" to prove we can't get workers from the US (this is why I've been MIA lately).  96 applicants so far...one person has actually completed the process.  What kind of process you ask?  Well, answering the phone is the first step.  Showing up for your scheduled interview would be step two.  And step three...show up for the second interview.  I mean, isn't this pretty standard practice for a job prospect?  Hmph.  You'd think so.  Sheesh.

Then tonight I did something really dumb.  I was playing with Harry, wrestling around.  I knew it was coming...and yep, he head-butted me right in the face.  Totally accidental, of  course, but I have a big red swollen bump on my cheekbone.

Funny that.....Saturday we went to a party.  The host is a nurse.  I complained to him that I was sore all over.  His response was to drink heavily.  Because he is a trained professional, I took his advice.  Boy did it work. :)

Poor Buddy!  Tramadol always makes Chyna feel better.  (After having my hand pinned, it made me feel much better too! Smile )

If anyone else asks me to do one blessed thing today I'm going tell them where to put it!  I am WHIPPED.  Thank goodness this day is over!

You're right Barbara, wine, too.  I just happen to have only beer at the house tonight, lol.

    Nice!  Yes

My mom once told me that when I was a baby and was teething or colicky or something like that, my doctor recommended she give me a wee bit of whiskey.  I told her that explained a lot, lol.

I'm pretty sure Glenda is going to tell you to put it in your hiney. Just saying ;)

    I have chocolate cupcakes, yum.

Day 1 of tutoring was today. I thought I had a 5th grade math student, but lucky me, I got two 2nd grade readings. I was SO RELIEVED. I can't do math to save my life, much less embarrass myself in front of a 5th grader. I practically fell asleep when tutoree #2 was reading aloud though. Poor kid reads. SO. SLOW.

I am intentionally not folding a basket of laundry to see how long it takes to drive BF crazy, muahahah.

I'm sorry about your friend's dog, Paige (hugs)

I'm sure that this will come as a shock to you....that will not be the first time that I've been told to "put it in my hiney."  Zip it!

Really, now, Amanda. How did I know you would go there!? Deb's not even around.

No cupcake for you! Give me one of the doxies as a trade. The laundry is for pissing off my BF, LOL. Payback for when he climbed up onto our 2nd story balcony the other night, wasted, and came in the sliding glass door in our bedroom. He (and I quote) 'didn't want to wake me up' so he didn't call and ask me to unlock the front door.

BTW, has anyone taken a firearms safety course? Apparently if I marry BF I get to take it for free.
