mindless messed up Moanday

    Safe travels Cathy!

I forgot to mention earlier....our body clocks are so much still on CDT; hopefully it won't last long.  DH went to bed at 8pm last night...tee hee.  Then went to work at 4am this morning.  Talk about quiet time at the office before his peeps start showing up....LOL.

I prefer this time of year because it gives me more time exercising the dogs before I get into work stuff.  And if I have to go IN to the office, even better.

Oh, I have some mole hunting pictures of Buddy...not of catching one, but the process.  Want to see them?  Might be kind of boring though.

Working today and let me tell you this office is killing me! I used to like going to work, but since I've been bouncing back and forth from this office to our main office and the crap that's going on here with splitting the office and the Dr's completly seperating the practices is such BS! I've never actually seen two professionals act like such children.

I am officially looking for another job.

You can tell it's Monday because I'm in a bad mood, hah! And folks that is all I have to offer to MC today...

Cathy!  Will you be back to work this week?  Here's to safe travels and home to the pooches and your comfy bed!

I'm really dragging today. I didn't sleep that well and my whole body is kind of achy. Especially my jaw.

We are back to the cloudy rain garbage again. I think I'm going to talk to the doc about some sad lights. Its hitting me much earlier this year.

Unfortunately, yes. I took tomorrow off though. I knew that by the time we land about 9 PM, get the car and get home, it'd be 10ish and then we'll want to spend time playing with the doggies for awhile. There's a washer and dryer here in the condo, so we're going home with all clean clothes and that's always nice.

We've been sharing leftovers from your breakfast with the birdies here. This morning, they saw me fixing it and started hovering around the lanai and making a lot of noise. As soon as we put the food out there, they swooped down and grabbed it.

Wow, it's Monday already?  Had a nice weekend except for finding a tick embedded in my ear.  *shivers*  I'm going to the Dr. to have him deal with it.  DH tried & could only get part of it When he wasn't being such a girly girl about it.  Gah, I love that man.  Anywho, I'm asking for antibiotics now before I possibly develop Lymes.  My Chiropractor has Lymes so badly that his Dr has to report all his findings & stuff to the CDC.  It's scary stuff.

Amanda, Lola is aDORable!  I'm dreaming if the day when she'll be singing the song "Whatever Lola Wants" from Damn Yankees.  :)

On a really exciting note (exciting to me that is).  Last month was filled with bad days for Maghee & me.  After talking to Maghee's holistic vet we decided that it might be her food that had a high amount of sodium in it & to try changing foods.  I had tried some frozen raw a while ago & for some reason stopped.  I had some leftover & thought I'd try it again.  What a difference!  Maghee loveloveloves her food now.  She wolfes it down & wants more.  She's also a totally happy dog.  All bouncy & happy.  Oh her breathing is so so so so much better.  I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders.  An unwell Maghee is not a happy thing.  A well Maghee is a wonderful thing to behold.

I can so relate to that statement...in so many ways WRT The BudMan.  Big Smile

Annie, yuck on the tick.  Not because I freak at ticks but the Lyme issue is not something I'd want to deal with either.  WOO HOO for miss Maghee!!!  I'm so happy that changing her food made such a big difference.  :)

Our shop is next to a car wash.  The young thugs come and spend all afternoon detailing their cars.  No problem, it's their time to waste but I do mind when they crank their bass on their sound systems up so loud it shakes the walls of my office.  Poor Twister hates it and looks at me like "make it stop".  Sometimes I go and ask them nicely to turn it down.  Most of them comply.  Right now there is a car full of guys I don't feel like talking to, they look a little too jumpy. Five more minutes and I call our local police.  They don't have much to do and they love to run them off. I feel like a grumpy olk lady but hey, I can't concentrate on everyone's mindless chat if my head is pounding. lol  Oh good, they must have run out of quarters, they left.

Had to edit.  I left the g out of Maghee. lol  While I'm back, Cathy I know what you mean about wanting to get home to your dogs and your bed.  Glad you had a good time. Hard not to in Maui, I would think. lol  The dogs will be so, so happy to see you guys!

DH's back started hurting him yesterday and today it's worse. Hopefully the 5 1/2 hour plane ride won't be too painful for him.

find a Therma Care Heat Wrap at the drug store, if you still have time - they are very helpful.

Amanda - Lola looks like an ice cream sundae to me, don't know why, but she's scrumptious.

Karen - still thinking of you and your DH.

Candace - I know that feeling... it's sucky.  My ex told his family she was "just a friend", but her status updated to say "in a relationship" with him.  (Did I mention that she's also prettier, younger, and has a career while also going to school full time and being the mother of a child with Cerebral Palsy??  Yeah, a real "loser".... would be so much easier if she was ugly, mean, and/or stupid. I'm choosing to see it as him having good taste in women.)  Luckily for you, you have more going for you that needs your attention, than his facebook status.

Annie, I'm so glad that Maghee is doing better!

Thanks for the nice comments about Lola.  I have fallen for her cute little half ear, & her sweet personality.  She has made huge strides in just the 4 days that she's been with us.  She came to meet the kids, with a happy wag, when they got out of bed this morning.  My secretary is in love with her as well.

Tonight's goals involve nail trimming, & ear handling.  Supposedly, she will not allow you to handle her whole ear "for fear of someone cutting it off."  If that's the case, it's time to get over that fear.

Have I mentioned that some days I hate work?  I wish that I were independently wealthy.

Well Tyler announced his "Relationship" on Facebook last night.  I didn't think it would bother me, but it kinda did.  Its not that I ever wanted to get back together with him, so I don't know why it bugs me.  Maybe cause he put up such a big fight about us breaking up, and he's moved on way way before I'm even ready to think about it.  Does that make me a bad person?

Candace, I think what you feel is normal.  Some men seem to be able to move on so quickly.  My ex-h searched for and had a new g/f before I even moved out.   They bought wedding rings a month after our divorce and were married w/in 5 months of that.  My ex-h did have issues, one of which was the need to make sure he had a caretaker.  He didn't even tell me they were getting married - I found out when someone showed me the "marriage licenses issued" section in the local newspaper.

Tina, you got that right.  Tyler needs reassurance of his manliness.  Now he's HER worry.  Candace -- you can take a load off!!  You're FAR better off!!
