Thursday for the mindless

Speaking of pedicures - my friend that lives on Maui emailed me and asked if I wanted her to set us up for an afternoon of spa treatments at the Grand Wailea. I said "absolutely" and then decided to check online for what they have. A pedicure is $65-70 and facials are around $150. It's a very upscale place, so I get that but they advertised some strangely named massage for $425 and said it lasts 25 minutes. What the heck kind of (legal) massage costs that much?

I'm not sure the illegal ones cost that much!! Holy cow!

I had to go back and check and I didn't read it quite right, but still, doesn't this sound crazy, expensive?

If that's true, I hope it's 25 min's per person and not for the whole family Big Smile

I was right there with you!

I went our office Happy Hour this evening.  I will never understand why people seem to enjoy getting drunk, & making fools of themselves with their co-workers.  I arrived a little late, & was met by four drunk employees who were so excited to see me that they felt the urge to stumble over to me & hug me.  Generally, I'm not a hugger.  Especially when the other person is almost fallin over drunk.  I wonder how many of them will call in tomorrow....

Sarah, your mom and your whole family will be in our prayers.

Paige, I'm glad to hear that Dad did well.  I was not very nice after my neck surgery, but then, I had a nurses aid who kept untying my gown and leaving my butt flapping in the breeze and moving stuff where I couldn't reach it....like the call button!  Absolutely EXCELLENT that he was wanting to get up to "go".  After anthesia, it takes forever for that first pee.  If they used his own bone for the fusion, the harvest site is likely to be much more painful than the neck.

Bless your sister for going back to help out, and d**n the other one for being such a self centered wench.

I read a funny joke in Reader's Digest.

"I dressed my dog up as a cat for Halloween. Now, he won't recall when I call him."

Paige, I'm glad to hear the surgery went well.  And also so glad that your sis is able to go help out for a few days.

Sarah, sorry about the news on your mom.  Sending you lots of good, 'caught early' vibes.

I'm bored.  I hate having to find busy work to do when we have no orders.
