Mindless Chatter....Wednesday

 I am going through idog withdrawls! I haven't been here to read anything in so long!

The weather this week has just been a dream come true and I've been taking advantage of it. Yesterday I had a meeting in Muskegon so I took the dogs with me then we went to the dog park beach over lunch. They had a great time (as did I) and even found some dead things to roll around in.

I've started Abbie in training classes. We jumped right to intermediate obedience because she knows all the basics. The problem is I've never really worked with her in a formal setting - just out in the yard and such. So, working around other dogs and lots of other people is a whole new ball game for her. It's distraction central and very challenging. Not to mention that she is dog reactive and will walk right up to a dog with no warning and bite it on the nose.....it's crazy.  I never know if she'll lick a dog on the face or bite it. The bite is more of a warning bite - not a hard vicious bite but still. You just don't walk up to a strange dog and bite it on the nose! Anyway, I have a feeling that she will be in training classes for a while to come.

Neiko and I are going to a herding clinic in IN this weekend. Unfortunately it is going to be rainy and cold :(

Can I just quit my job and find a sugar daddy?

 I'm not sure why its happening but we are being innundated with lady bugs today - I mean a lot!

Just got back from lunch.  Was treated to a very nice lunch by the Fire Department and had a piece of double lemon pie!!  Delish!

I dont have a job but when you find your sugar daddy will you see if he has a brother?!! Lol.

So Abby is a bully huh? I think you should send her to me and I will give her a job being my own personal bodyguard from the neighbors dog that bit me!
 

 Yes, Abby is a bully. I really got on her case last night at training class because she was barking and going after all of the other dogs. I've tried the nice approach to her reactivity, now I'm just getting firm and no-nonsense. We'll see what works best.

We have lots of lady bugs here too!!! I saw them all over the beach yesterday. They are probably actually those japenese beatles though instead of lady bugs. They all look the same.

Will someone please go and look at the pic's I posted?  Please, I'm begging and then come back and tell me how adorable my dogs are!! LOL

I know, pitiful and needy, but I have wanted to put pic's up for so long and am so not good at this sort of thing and finally with help managed to get a few up and no one has said a word!!  They are in the main photo section (at the top).  I tried to post them on the photos for sharing but don't know how.  Miss T is helping me and hopefully I'll get better.  Thanks.
