Think of the photo of Bugsy and his mole. Ick! I almost died

Sorry for providing a dreadful image Embarrassed  Glad she is doing better!!

Actually, the Bugsy photos were useful. I would have had no clue what it was without the photos of Bugsy and his mole to guide me. Just proving that you never know what Forum information will become useful in everyday life.

Ladies with the blues -- I think you need to put on some fun music and dance!

I'm not the only one with a crappy life? Mine broke up with me last night. So, I'm struggling for composure today.

I'm sorry, Meg.  That sucks.  I know exactly where you are right now, as I am sure 90% of us have been there, too!  It's the hardest the first day.  Can I make a suggestion?  DO NOT listen to the radio.  If you think dumb things will make you cry just thinking about him, the radio will make you bawl!  Even the songs about things getting better in time, it's still very hard to listen to in that first few days.

Keep yourself busy, your chin up, and surround yourself with friends/family who remind you how strong and good you are.  HUGS!!

On a lighter note, Ben has just taught himself how to blow raspberries on the floor.

Ben makes me laugh. Big Smile

Lies - Glad you're okay!  How scary.

Pit_Pointer_Aussie - Ewwwww about the mole!  I probably would have tossed the cookies myself if one of my dogs ever chucked up a paw or femur!  I'm glad Luna's doing better though.

Today was alright...work was typical.  But I'm home now, and DH is grilling for dinner!  I love when we cookout.

I found out the radio deal earlier(even better advice, do NOT listen to Country music....my Mom calls it 'cryin in your beer music';). I'm trying very hard, but when you've known the boy for 6 years. And dated about 2 years(on and off). This ones the worst. But I realized tonight that **I** deserve better, if he can't come up with a decent reason to break up with me, **I** deserve better.

On top of all that, they're some **real** cute cowboys at the rodeo every friday night....I think me and Sam will take the truck down there for a few hours.Big Smile

    HUGGS!!!!

     Mmmmm Drool.. Cowboys.. Lol.  Smile

Maze had her first agility class this afternoon and she did GREAT!! Flew over the jumps, started on the weaves and hit her target everytime.. Remember this is her first class and I've never taught her this stuff before... My trainer is giving me a set of wooden weave poles on Saturday so I can practice during the week.  She also wants to get Maze to the point where she can be used as a demo dogBig Smile Next week Maze's mug shot will be on the website so I'll post a link when it's up. We started loose leash walking today and that was an experience.  We need to work on control. Lol. Off leash I have great control.. On leash not so much.  So that's my homework this week. And I have a MAJOR brag (another one) that I'll post in General.

Overall today was a good day. I was gonna go to the book store and pick up my books but I am just too tired from running Maze. Lol. It's Welfare Wednesday so we're rich for a day and tomorrow I'm buying the Dremel so hopefully I can get one paw done tomorrow night.. We'll see. Saturday I'm going to a Halloween party at the K9 Club so I'll see if I can remember my camera.

I am supposed to be staying in College Station tonight, but I forgot to toss the suitcase into the jeep this morning when Bev & I left for Houston.Hmm

Anyway, his re-check with the surgeon, radiologist, & internist went well.  He was such a sweetie in the lobby.  There was a family waiting with their cat, who had broken his leg.  The little girl was crying at the thought of having to leaving her cat for surgery.  Bev slid right on over to the girl, & laid his head in lap.  She cried on Bev's head, while the cat went back to the kennels.  He just sat there sweetly, looking back at me from time to time.  By the time she was through crying, Bev's head was soaked.

His neuro consult is tomorrow.  I am excited at the prospect of finally getting a diagnosis, & terrifed all at the same time.

Lies, I'm so happy you are ok!! What a scary experience!

Amanda: I'll be thinking about you and I really hope the diagnosis will be a very simple non-terrifiyng thing. Bevo is such a sweet doggie giving comfort to a little girl!

Amanda good luck with the consult - we'll be looking for the results later.

Bevo that was a super sweet and wonderful thing to do.  Perhaps if you have to have a more sedate life you could do some therapy work?
