I got paid $60 today to spend an hour evaluating what cup McDonald's should put their fancy coffee in LOL

I had to sip vanilla latte's and provide feedback on the lid and cup - how silly is that?

Not silly at all as long as they keep the vanilla lattes coming!

when you finished the survey for that cup they would take it away so I went really slow LOL!!

I was surprised that some people were adding sugar to a quite sweet coffee in the first place though!

M&M's mom glad you eval went well!

No one has returned my heavy duty cable cutters or has taken responsibility for it, yet. The proj supt and one of his helpers had borrowed it Monday. That's the last they remember using it. The supt said something about getting me a new one but here it is Thursday and nothing in my good hand. So, I've been looking up on line. Greenlee doesn't make that exact style anymore. My old ones would cut up to 750 kcm copper, 950 kcm aluminum, soft drawn conductor cable. We normally use 500 kcm and 600 kcm THHN for main service entrance conductors, from the utility to our main distribution panels (switchgear). But Greenlee does make one similar to it and the best price I have found online is about $302, before tax. Another toolmaker makes one almost exactly like I had for $450 plus tax.

In the past, when I broke or lost another person's tool, I replaced it, often the same day. The same courtesy is not extended to me. A co-workers cable cutters, that go up to 500 kcm, got borrowed around the job in a similar fashion and they were returned to him today. But I am not extended the same courtesy. So, now, I'm looking at having to spend my tax rebate check or the money I will get from AFLAC for my broken finger on replacing it. But I have learned my lesson. I had my 1 ton chain hoist out there for suspending and setting the switchgear pieces in other parts of the building (each piece weighs at least 1,000 lbs.) And I had my 480 Channelock pliers out there for using on pipes up to 4 inches in diameter. I have brought those home and into the garage. They will not come out unless I am using them for a task that I am on. And the others can do without. Or buy their own.

But other than that, it was an easy day.
