Ok, I work in a library. How many PAGES do you want? ROFLLL
Froggy series--a little frog (about a 1st grader) and all of his adventures--going to school, playing soccer, 1st kiss, learning to swim. The pictures a great!
Miss Spider series--AWESOME, brightly colored pictures and gentle messages
Stellaluna--a great story about a baby bat who is helped by some birds.
Good Night Moon--this book is on its fourth (I think) generation of kids. A classic!
Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel--another classic
I Spy series--incredibly detailed photos--you read a rhyme describing the picture and hunt for various items in the photo. Sort of a Where's Waldo (which is another good series!).
Arthur books--great stories with kids who act like REAL kids!
Ramona the Pest series--My favorite part is when Ramona names her doll "Chevrolet" because it's the prettiest word she knows.
Little House books--what can I say? Completely wonderful AND educational.
Encyclopedia Brown series--mysteries solved by a 10 YO boy.
The Poky Little Puppy--another classic!
Anything by Eric Carle
Let me know if you want more!
