  I'm so sorry about Jasmine. Maybe you can take a little comfort in the fact that she doesn't know her time is short and doesn't feel the terrible weight on her shoulders that you do. I'll pray for both of you. {{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}     

Oh honey, I'm so so sorry.  It's really like a physical blow, isn't it?  I know it's not fair.  I'll never understand, but I know you wouldn't give up having her in exchange for the pain.  Come here and grieve or rail against the universe.  We understand.  We've been there, and I know we'll all go there again.  And if there's anything I can do, don't hesitate to let me know.

Oh Bonita!  I'm so sorry for you {{{{hugs}}}}  Each of those things were hard to hear, but to get them all at once w/ no time to recover in between, it just doesn't seem fair.  I agree w/ what another poster said, God doesn't give us more than we can handle, but I'll be darned if he doesn't take it to the limit sometimes.  Rant, rave, do what ever you need to do it get it out and help clear your head.

 I'm so sorry.  Bad news tends to come in droves doesn't it?  I'm sorry that you're going through so much turmoil right now.  Hugs and licks from my crew to you and yours.

Dogs can be such amazing companions. The joys and love they bring to us - the joy and love we give back. But all of that comes with a price, and that price is grief when our beloveds reach their end, which is always way too soon. Fourteen years is not long enough. Twenty isn't. Not when you know and love a dog like Jasmine.

I am so sorry that you are facing this. Knowing that it will come doesn't make the pain hurt less. It HURTS. Please give your darling girl a gentle kiss on the nose from all of us. If her time is short, I hope with all my strength that the time that remains is filled with love and peace. You have been lucky to have her, and she has been lucky to have you. ((hugs))
