Sorry, Zhi is a Chinese Crested and by default has NO claim to dignity. I mean, even when she's not wearing silly outfits people look at her and say, "Soooo, that's a dog, right?"

I'll paraphrase what bamaeskie said, and say that Zhi's mission is to make people smile. She does that well, especially wearing cute little season-appropriate outfits! I mean, it's not like she can move my sheep to a new pasture or defend Timmy from the mountain lion. [

LOL, Rebecca! Mine also have no claim to dignity. If they did, I'm certain they wouldn't rush outside and scarf cat poop, or roll over and pee when they're excited, or run into walls....

Blue has a bandana for almost each hoilday. He even has a hoodie and a jacket I make him wear when it's cold out or when it's raining. He doesn't enjoy the rain very much he sticks really close to the house to avoid getting rained on. I only got devil horns for Blue for Halloween which Blue hates. I'm working on buying him a costume sooner or later.

My mom is a shame that I do these things. Really deep down she knows she enjoys every moment of it.

My bf was deadset against dogs in clothes. He thought it was so dumb, etc. This was until Zoe started living with him and she would shiver in 70 degree weather! He then became an advocate for sweaters on her

. He did like her Halloween costume too, but in general, he is for purposeful clothing, not just for holidays etc. I am for all of it!

Does anyone dress up their dog?
