I thought of Gus, as in Goofy Gus. But then, it looked like he was going to play kissy face with Ronin, so maybe, Loverboy. How about Klaus? German monosyllabic and it's a male name.

LOL, Ron......the dog already has a nickname of "Goofy"....DH gave him that with good reason, he loves to carry around small pillows....

We settled on an official name" Aspen".....he responds to that pretty good.....thanks for all the suggestions(his second name is" Ansgar", a name that came off a German name site.......I don't know, it has a certain ring to it....lol)

Aspen/Ansgar is fitting in nicely.......new food, new bed, bath, medicine, new play buddies, fenced in yard.....and last night the nail trimming.....yay....
