What about....crap. I had a really good one.......I'll have to come back to this one.
LOL, I read that twice...
Heh. Me too!
I like to go by personalities. If she's a prissy girl, Onyx, Coral, or Opal. If she's tomboyish, Tippy, Jet (have a friend who just named a little BC pup Jett as in Joan), Trixie, or Spats (the white marks on her feet). If she's a bit of a diva, there's Jade, Minx, Val, Viv, Sassy, and of course Diva.
I also like classical names: Roman Goddesses - Juno, Queen; Venus, love; Diana, moon; Vesta, home; Maia, spring growth. Egyptian: Hathor, music; Isis, magic/wisdom; Ma'at, justice; Bastet, health and plenty (cat goddess). Nordic goddess: Freyja
Finally, I like to check out cultural names: Here's a list of Nahuatl (Mexican Mayan) names and meanings: http://www.azteca.net/aztec/nombresennahuatl.html - lots of lovely choices here, almost makes me want to get a chi or Xolo just to use one. Check out Nelli, Tolnalna, Yoltzin, and Izel. The X's are pronounced like "Sh" -sort of.
