Earthquake anyone?

dawn i saw some pics...i think it was on cnn.com from lousiville and there was quite a bit of damage!!

wow! thats crazy! hope everyone is ok... don't know much about earthquakes bein a texas and all... we just have to worry about hurricanes down here...

I think the last time there was a major quake along the New Madrid fault was back in the 1800s, but if there's ever another one .... look out.  I'm guessing that no place outside the west coast and Alaska have anything built to earthquake preparedness standards. I wonder if this means CA is going to start having tornados or hurricanes?

Honestly, it is not that bad, one building had alot of bricks come down on the sidewalk, and another had 2 chimneys damaged, I do not think either will be condemed.

So far there are no other damage reports that I have seen outside of those 2 buildings, and considering the state and age of some of these buildings it could have been worse, probably would have been had the quake been closer.

They are inspecting all the bridges and overpasses here in town. So far so good!
