Maybe the ACD part of her will be more obvious as she grows. She might be more "collie" in her colouring (I think b&w is the dominant gene?) but have more ACD traits.
My best advice for house training is to be with her all the time at first, watch her very clsely (I mean eyes -on, not just in the same room - it helps to keep doors closed and use stairgates etc.) and take her out AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN!!!! She most especially needs to go out at these times:
- Very soon after eating or drinking
- On waking
- After or during long periods of chew or playing.
Never punish her for mistakes. Try to prevent accidents by getting her outside in plenty of time (no grabbing and dashing in a frenzied - remember: it's just a bit of wee!) but accept that she might have a few and shrug them off. If she has any, take her outside and reward her for anything she does outside, then pop her somewhere safe and out of sight while you clean up thoroughly with an enzymatic cleaner. It might also help to move the waste outside to where you want it to go.
Have you picked any names yet?
