    Congratulations!  That is an achievement all of you can celebrate!  My cousin has been trying to get into vet school for 3 years, and it's TOUGH to get accepted.  Your SD obviously shows much promise - what an honor to go to such a reputable school -- good for her!

    Woo Hoo!!! You have got to be so hard! I completely understand how hard it is to get into vet school, let alone a great one! Crongrats to your SD!

    I graduated from Purdue's Animal Science program last May and it truly is a great school - the vet school has some wonderful profs (Alan Beck in the Human Animal Bond and Julie Shaw in Behavior, especially), and they do good work.  That's where Maggie went for treatment after her accident a few years ago.

    I'm assuming that in the long run, that will save you quite a bit in vet care. Big Smile

    Oh I am just sure we will come out WAY ahead on this one.  LOL.  Leave it to Joyce to point out the bright side of a situation.
