    A Nice Surprise

The front passenger side fender on my car has been hanging loose for about 3 months. Somebody probably dinged it in a parking lot.   I know body work is very expensive so I decided I'd either ignore it or maybe go to Walgreens for some of that "as seen on TV" putty and whack it back into place myself.  Then a neighbor told me I really should get it fixed because if the entire fender fell off it would cost a heck of a lot more in the long run.  So I decided to bite the bullet and I asked a friend who owns an automotive shop (he doesn't do body work) if he could recommend a place to take it.  He did ... and the cost for having it fixed?  A whopping $25 - if I had known it was only going to cost $25 I would have had it fixed a long time ago. Big Smile I was really thinking I was going to get charged at least a couple of hundred, if not more.

Wow that is cheap! Are you sure the guy isn't going to go get the stuff at Walgreens to fix it? Wink

Nice!!! Even if he does get the Walgreens gunk, $25 is probably worth not getting it on your fingers/clothes! Stick out tongue
