My horse & I had a minor disagreement today.  I thought that we had agreed to go over a jump, & at the last second, he reconsidered

OUCH. Been there, done that. I didn't walk correctly for a week! Spent the entire night in the tub soaking and wallowing in my wounds... haha. I miss riding so much. =/

I took another foster pup.... what was I thinking.... haha. She's not supposed to be here long, just babysitting for another foster mom while her BF is sick.

I had a long day at work...then I went and did a little much needed retail therapy and only spent $35 even though I decided I could spend every dime of my overtime from last week which leaves me with over $200 to spend still, then met some friends for dinner and really really enjoyed it.  I was planning on cancelling this morning but glad I went.  I think I need to make time to go to Forever 21 and the old non updated non Super Target this weekend and do some more retail therapy.  The NON super target has the best clothes selection of all three in FW. 

Sarah, I never thanked you for the pilates recommendation.  I've been going three times a week, & I love it!  Thank you!!!

FWIW, I love retail therapy, & indulge frequently.  I had a great outing at Old Navy a couple of weeks ago.

Your welcome!  I love it too!  I am so glad you enjoyed it!  I haven't been in a couple weeks and am dying to get back...I did get to a yoga class the other night though.

I'm sure that you're counting down the days until April 15th!  Only a little over a month to go, before you have more time.  Meaning more time to do the fun stuff!

I haven't taken a yoga class since I started pilates, but I do some poses at home.  I'm looking really hard at  kickboxing classes to up my cardio, without increasing my running.  I'm still not sure though..

ack. I used to take yoga classes.... I hope I can get back into them this summer - I really miss it! Man - it was hard, but excellent!  Works great for my bad knees (well... most of it!)

BF & I are getting married.  He asked Sunday night  & I said yes.  I freaked out a little, at first with a few fears & concerns, but after some guidance from a few god friends, I'm really excited.  A friend sent me links to all kinds of cool wedding sites, so I've been checking them out.  I *think* that I want a destination wedding.  I really like a few places in the Bahamas, & there is one beach in The Grenadines that looks gorgeous. 

Julie - Hopefully this new food works for Dakota!  She reminds me so much of Honor (only 4x the size!), so I always love hearing about her.  Hopefully her mood will brighten tomorrow.

And it's a late post for Mindless Chatter, but Honor's doing exceptionally well on basic clicker training.  After much thought, I've given it a chance, really focusing on attention exercises.  And she's doing great so far!  Here's to hoping that it will help curb her leash/dog "enthusiasm".

My horse & I had a minor disagreement today.  I thought that we had agreed to go over a jump, & at the last second, he reconsidered.  He refused the jump, & I flew over his head, & landed on a rail.  My poor shoulder is aching right now.  We have our first show next weekend, & currently, we are nowhere near prepared.  Ohn well, we'll just have to work a little harder.

I have to admit your jumping mishap made me smile on a mishap Sayler and I had...at a show I showed him as a jumper primarily (though he did EVERYTHING) and we were in the jump off. The last fence was a triple bar towards the out gate, I came on an IMPOSSIBLE angle thinking my super horse could do it. I leaned left (of course that is how you tell them to jump...right?) and he went right. I landed on a flower pot. I had the biggest bruise on my backside!!!! Poor Sayler looked devastated, he didn't mean for me to fall off. Don't worry buddy it was you mother's stupidity, not your fault. I think we were champion anyway. I hope your shoulder feels better soon. I WANT TO JUMP!!!! I have not jumped a fence since August.
