Hope Meri starts feeling better soon!  Riley had a pretty bad cold after x-mas so I know what you are going through!

That video is just so cute and Scout is adorable too.  Looks like he is trying to hang back and keep out the video line of sight Wink

Aw Meri, even with the sickies you're too cute for words.  Feel better soon sweetie!

    Oh...btw what is p&pt?

    • Gold Top Dog

I am glad someone else asked that question, because now i dont feel so stupid!

    Errm, something and positive thoughts?

thanks guys! p&pt = prayers and positive thoughts

Mixed witht this sickness she has also learned how to sit up on her own. Which is great, she looks so proud of herself. But for some reason she is traumatized by doing it in her crib. She can get down from a sit fine is she's playing on the floor. But not the crib. Poor thing was screaming and sitting in the middle of her crib this afternoon when she should have been napping. And tonight when she went down for bed, she did the same thing. Feel so bad for her sick and confused/scared. I think I need to get her a nightlight i think!

That would probably help.  Is her room really dark at night?  Madison will not sleep without a night light.

Me Neither!  LOL.  I'm such a suck, but honestly, having to jump up in the middle of the night for one reason or another, I really need that nightlight!  My toes demand it!

I'm leaning towards another girl.  BF wants a boy, but he'd settle for a girl.  It would just be easier since we have all of Kali's stuff.  But at this point, I've just been so sick that I'll be happy if its actually human!

Aww poor lil doll.  I would work on physically helping and teaching her to sit up and lie down in her cot and only use the night light as a last resort.  Light gets the melatonin in your brain going and tells your body "time to wake up - be awake!"  So I prefer the bedroom to be as dark as possible when it's time to sleep Smile  It's just my way of letting Will know "time to sleep now".

Thanks chuffy, the darkness has never bothered her before. BUT I think I may have figured out why she was so upset. I lowered her mattress in her crib yesterday. And she has been trying to sit up in her crib for days I think for the sole purpose of reaching her mobile. So, I think she finally was able to sit up(but after I had lowered the mattress) yesterday, and when she couldn't reach her mobile, I think she got mad(lol). Though this morning when I put her down for her nap, the little stinker somehow reach it(i think barely though) and I could hear the music going. After she did this she settled right down and went to sleep. So I think that may be the case. At least that's my theory.

And I think she may be feeling better too. She slept really well last night.

Here's a pic I took a few days ago when she was feeling really poorly. Doesn't she look so sad?

Ahh she looks all... despondent!  And adorable as usual.  That's a neat picture.   I love the way the light is playing across her face.
