I do too, Anne.  I just feel a certain connection with this little guy.  I'm sure you've felt that with some of the dogs you've come across in your dog career.

Thanks everyone for the continued good thoughts.  He's home with his foster mom now.  Last night was rough for both him & his foster mom.  He's in a lot of pain.  He had a reaction to one of the pain meds he was on & had poopies during the night.  He's on morphine patches.  Apparently the surgery was far more extensive than originally thought.  Dr. H thinks it's going to be about 10 days before he feels any better.
